@Ryon_Reyne If we had a NBA team, I’m scared of how much I’d be a fan of them. Sucks because we’d probably end up in another Royals scenario and I’d be stuck with another consistent losing team. I hate pretty much all LA and NY teams.

@JoshiQ I couldn’t care less about the NBA and haven’t for several years, so much so I very much do not want an NBA team in KC. As far as NY teams go? Every single one can win Championships, save one. If the Yankees never win another Title it’ll still be too soon…

Love the show but pretending a NY team is some sort of underdog or how NY deserves this after so long without a championship. Gag me.

@klseaboldt I am fine if someone doesn’t want to blame Q. You can say Q has been given a crappy roster. It then that means JJ didn’t sign or draft the right players for him. Which means JJ should be on the hot seat. Has to be one or the other.

Every single objection that people have with how Q managed this game today boils down to one thing: “Why didn’t you do the thing that would’ve worked?” Everyone is certain that the way THEY would’ve played it would’ve resulted in a win. He’s far from perfect. He makes moves I don’t like. I just get tired of this pattern of every single loss being the result of his bad managing. The Yankees are the better team. Sometimes the better team wins.

Take a wild guess at how many of our starting lineup are now batting under .240. I know average is a bad stat, but holy crap. #royals

Just finished Exit 8. Pretty good movie. Don’t necessarily know if I’d call it horror. More like Coherence in a sci-fi mind bending style of movie. Would recommend. Probably won’t make my top ten list this year, but was happy with it overall.

I got bit by this bug in the mid-late ‘90s. Thankfully it was a short phase.

Over the years, the prevailing critical tool to judge and rate wrestling has been "workrate," the notion of how much action happens in a match. In a bearhug, almost nothing happens along those lines: feet planted, tiny movements. But so much emotion can be portrayed nonetheless.

@priceacarter Started watching at the time of the Decision. I got annoyed at the thought of a super team. Have since become a fan of a few teams (so I can cheer against LeBron, Lakers, NY teams). LeBron is such a great player it’s been fun to root against him. Right now my fav are the Nuggets.

Question: how do folks via being a fan of certain NBA teams in Kansas City? In other words, is there a team you should be a fan of in KC? Or do you just pick? And don’t say the Kings I was -15 years old when they were here.
