@irc_uganda was honoured to participate in the International Inter-Religious Conference in Addis Ababa on Nov 4-5, 2024 in which a declaration for tolerance, peace, and unity was made. It provided a platform for interfaith dialogue, spreading values ​​of tolerance, and peace.

We held a successful preparatory meeting with IOM Uganda staff in anticipation of next week's three-day training session for religious leaders and IRCU technical staff on migration and labor externalization. Ugandan diaspora remits over USD 1 billion annually.

The IRCU Secretary General led a productive meeting with the Uganda Alcohol Policy Alliance team at the IRCU secretariat offices. They discussed various issues, including the impact of unregulated alcohol consumption on young people in Uganda.
