Some of you still seem to think oil is only used for gasoline for light duty vehicles, because that’s the only time you’ve physically encountered it. Expensive and scarce oil is an omnicrisis for the global economy. It cannot be replaced by electrons from solar panels.

Joe Rogan has the biggest podcast in America, and one of the biggest in Canada. We need to be talking to Americans in the places they're listening. Smart move. #cdnpoli

The Food Professor
The Food Professor@FoodProfessor·
Claiming industrial carbon pricing has nothing to do with higher grocery prices is simply unrealistic. Food prices are built through a long chain — fertilizer, farming, processing, packaging, refrigeration, and transportation. All of these stages depend heavily on energy and industrial inputs, precisely the sectors affected by carbon pricing. 1/2...

Soaring unemployment. Global energy crisis. Russian oil fuelling Putin’s war machine. I wonder if there’s anything Canada could do to create hundreds of thousands of high paying jobs, tens of $ billions in government revenue, while providing the world with access to the planet’s third largest energy reserves, from a stable liberal democracy? The world needs more Canadian energy now, and for decades to come. Deregulate now. Put Canadian prosperity and global security ahead of pandering to green-left activists. Get pipelines built at the speed of business. The private sector will take care of the rest.

Delighted to lead a group of business leaders in meeting Conservative Party of Canada Leader @PierrePoilievre for an insightful discussion. Pierre was early to recognise the failure of Net Zero and the need to free taxpayers from the austerity of a high tax state.

Personal story time. I wasn't going to share this, but upon reflection, everyone needs to know what kind of man @PierrePoilievre is. Within 48 hours of our engagement last fall, Pierre called to congratulate. He didn't have to. He seeks to represent 43 million Canadians, yet he somehow found time to text and call to offer his congratulations. I count many Conservative MP's as dear friends, and several were able to attend our wedding during the busiest time of the year. As we finalized the wedding details, we obviously sent Pierre an invitation as well, fully knowing his schedule would preclude his attendance. Yet he still found time to sign a gift we will cherish for the rest of our lives: a personally signed letter of congratulations from the Leader of the Official Opposition. The next time we saw each other, he came right up to us and asked us all about the wedding, and he was far more generous with his time than anyone could expect. On personal or policy matters, our many conversations have always been thoughtful, strategic, principled, personal, and empathetic. I am thrilled to see Pierre travel abroad and proclaim a message of building a strong Canada at home so we can be unbreakable abroad. Time has proven Pierre right on countless major policy positions. Canada needs a principled, hard-working, man-of-the-people Pierre Poilievre as our next Prime Minister.

Carney literally stated in January that China was his "new strategic partner" as part of his "new world order" and now he complains that he is not consulted with by USA in dealing with failures of "the international order". The inability to pick a lane is telling.
Harrison Faulkner@Harry__Faulkner

PM Mark Carney says the U.S.-Israel war against Iran is a failure of the international order. "The current conflict is another example of the failure of the international order." "The United States and Israel have acted without engaging the United Nations or consulting allies, including Canada."

Pierre Poilievre laid out a clear, principled vision for Canada’s future last week. A plan to strengthen our economy, defend our sovereignty, and build the capacity we need to face global challenges with confidence. Canada’s future must be built on resilience, self-reliance, and pride in who we are — and Pierre will always champion these values.

🔴 BREAKING: Conservative Party of Canada leader, @PierrePoilievre, has publicly supported CANZUK at an event in London. “The time has come for a new partnership among Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand – a modern CANZUK – a pact to open our economies further, remove barriers, recognize credentials, expand skilled labour mobility, and deepen capital markets.” 🇨🇦🇦🇺🇳🇿🇬🇧 canzukinternational.com/2026/03/conser…

The Parliamentary Budget Officer spent months digging into the Interim Federal Health Program. He helped expose that premium health benefits were being provided to rejected asylum claimants. He revealed the program will cost Canadians over $1.5 billion a year. This work was invaluable because Canadians deserve to know where their money is going. His term expired Monday, but no replacement has been named by the Liberals. The office cannot publish new reports. I’m sure the timing is purely coincidental.

Mark Carney just boasted that $100 billion of our Canadian pension funds have been poured into India while our roads crumble, the housing crisis rages, and seniors wait for care. Where’s the promise to “Buy Canadian”? Our retirement security shouldn’t fund foreign infrastructure before our own! #cdnpoli
