Niche but nasty accident during yoga. Whacked by a resistance band which snapped while stretching! It’s known in work as ‘doing a @WynneEvans’ - at least mine hit my foot rather than my face, Wynne! #Ouch #Namaste 🙏🏽

More and more physiotherapists are becoming FCP / Consultants etc, but who’s guiding these complex patients through their rehab journey?

It seems to me that in the sprint to develop advanced skills in other professional domains like prescribing and diagnostics.. 🚨We are at risk of losing sight of the fact that physiotherapy and rehabilitation when done Well is advanced practice! #balance #righttorehab 🚨

Some days it’s easy to shrug off an ill thought out comment from someone else. Sometimes people just mean crack a joke. But today “here’s the physio to break the patient” just got me. I could only summon a stare. Feel crap tonight now. No resilience today. 😢

Working in covid rehab and seeing lots of patients with significant pain and restricted range in shoulders. Imaging has shown calcific myositis, likely traumatic post-proning. Anyone else seeing this and any advice on physio management? #CovidRehab #physio #calcificmyositis
