As an Iranian with rare unrestricted internet access with Starlink, I must speak: Iranian families are huddled in fear tonight. This talk of “finalizing” a deal with the Islamic Republic is our worst nightmare.40,000+ Iranians slaughtered — for JCPOA 2.0? Why abandon the path that was finally confronting the regime? The Strait of Hormuz was never closed. We struck to end the nuclear threat, crush radical Islam, and stop the massacre of our people. Instead we get a fake deal that achieves none of it. The regime will keep slaughtering Iranians and racing toward the bomb. They don’t honor agreements — everyone knows this. This is defeat. A humiliating surrender by the side that was winning. I implore you, @realDonaldTrump, @netanyahu and the free world: reconsider. Most Iranians won’t sleep tonight, glued to satellite TV as many don'thave internet. If this deal is signed, history will record the unprecedented shame of a victor choosing surrender. Free Iran will never forget. Pray for us tonight #IranMassacre

@tedcruz @POTUS Any deal with the mullahs now would be far worse than what Obama did. There is only one thing that should be done now: support the people of Iran in overthrowing this regime and bringing peace to the world. Regime change is the only solution.

I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran “deal,” being pushed by some voices in the administration. President Trump’s decision to strike Iran was the most consequential decision of his second term. He was right to do so, and we achieved extraordinary military results—including destroying all of their missiles & drones and sinking their entire navy. If the result of all that is to be an Iranian regime—still run by Islamists who chant “death to America”—now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake. The details are still coming out—and I pray the early reports are wrong—but the fact that Biden’s Rob Malley is praising the deal is not encouraging. President Trump believes in peace through strength, and his strong leadership has already made America much safer. He should continue to hold the line, defend America & enforce the red lines he has repeatedly drawn.

Your bottom time on a 160ft cave dive, with conventional open circuit, even with twin 80s is not going to be long. Add in….caves, disorienting surroundings and panic, and i can see why this happened. Real talk, I have dove…. A lot, and for what it’s worth I’m a dive master. And I will never….fucking EVER go cave diving. Especially at this fucking depth.

TRUMP-XI JUST PUBLISHED THE EXACT LIST OF WHAT THEY AGREED ON ABOUT IRAN AND HORMUZ Not vague summaries. Not "productive talks." NAMED COMMITMENTS. SPECIFIC POINTS. Item by item. 🇺🇸 US companies get expanded access to Chinese markets — signed off in Beijing, May 14 🇨🇳 China increases investment into the United States 🇺🇸 China cracks down harder on fentanyl flowing into America 🌾 China buys more American agricultural products 🛢 Hormuz Strait must stay open — both sides committed in writing ⚓ China explicitly opposes militarization of the Strait of Hormuz ⛽ China opposes anyone charging tolls to pass through Hormuz 🛳 China will buy MORE American oil specifically to reduce its own dependence on the Hormuz route ☢️ Both sides agree: Iran cannot have nuclear weapons 💀 9 named commitments 💀 ZERO quantitative targets in the readout 💀 ZERO new enforcement board created 💀 100% of the Hormuz points exist because Iran nearly shut the world's oil supply in February 2026 Every point on this list exists because Brent crude hit $113 a barrel after US-Israel strikes on Iran triggered the largest oil disruption in modern history. Not diplomacy for its own sake. CRISIS MANAGEMENT. China is Iran's top oil buyer. China just publicly told Tehran that a closed Hormuz is bad for Beijing too. The 2020 Phase One deal had the same structure. China missed almost every agricultural target in that deal. This readout has no numbers and no referee. I'll share more details shortly so turn on notifications, this is VERY important.

@JoeA_NFL JJ was literally one of the worst, if not the worst, QB in the league last year. And that's with some of the best weapons in the league and an amazing coach/QB friendly system. You clearly don't know shit about ball if you think JJ is a good QB or that he's better than Kyler.

There is no sound reason for the Vikings to start Kyler Murray over JJ McCarthy, but they will anyway. Bad Planning Just to begin, don’t focus on which QB you think is better. Focus on which course of action is better. Would you rather: A) Hitch your wagon to 1 year of a severely limited, experienced, known quantity… or B) Hand the keys to an unproven, 22 yr old QB with a much higher ceiling, with 3 more years of cheap roster control? I personally think that JJ McCarthy is a better QB than Kyler Murray, but that’s not the issue. The real problem is that, even if Kyler is a little better, that's insane asset & risk mismanagement. You have to play the younger, higher-upside, higher downside QB no matter what. If JJ pans out, you're a contender. If JJ sucks, you get a high pick in an extremely hyped draft. Anything between is the same as Kyler anyway! Winning Now Some may argue that the Vikings need to start Kyler Murray because are too good of a roster—they need to win now. Are they really winning now with a QB who falls between QB20 and QB30? We have seen Kyler play for 7 years. The results have not been good—especially since he lost Kliff Kingsbury. Because even in an offense that hides how hindered Kyler is by his diminutive height, Kyler just isn’t that accurate or consistent. JJ McCarthy is far from a sure thing. He has played 10 games. There’s a chance that JJ is a top 20 QB in 2026. He just turned 23 and he looked real good to end 2025. Plenty of reason for optimism. If you get this version of JJ McCarthy, you are in contention for a Super Bowl. There is also a very real chance JJ is truly awful—outside the top 40 QBs. If you get this version of JJ, you are going to be at the bottom of the league… with a top pick in the uber-hyped 2027 draft. Anything between those outcomes is roughly the same outcome as the Vikings can expect with Kyler. So Kyler probably nets you a fringe wild card season (Assuming he stays healthy and plays the way he has for the last few years). That’s not really “winning now,” is it? Starting JJ gets you either: 1. A magical season and playoff run with a young QB that is under contract; 2. A fringe wild card season like Kyler’s; or 3. A disaster that nets you a top pick in a LOADED draft and total certainty about your direction forward. Literally all 3 of those outcomes is equal to or better than the outcome if you start Kyler. There's absolutely no viable argument for choosing the Kyler option. The Justin Jefferson Problem The elephant in the room is that Jefferson demanded either the Vikings sign Kyler or trade him. This isn’t a guess. If I were the Vikings’ brass, my counter would be, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out". If my wide receiver, who will need an extension soon anyway, is trying to make demands on what we do at quarterback—especially really dumb demands like starting Kyler Murray over JJ McCarthy—I'm trading his ass immediately. Former GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah learned this the hard way. If JJ McCarthy is as bad as people like Jefferson think he is, you are primed to get a top pick like Arch Manning in the apparently legendary 2027 draft. May as well load up on a ton of assets. Justin Jefferson would probably net at least 2 first round picks! More to rapidly rebuild with. If McCarthy is as good as I think he will be, you are a contender with or without Jefferson. That's before we even start counting up the assets the Vikings could receive in return for Justin Jefferson while his reputation is still sky-high.

If your life depended on it, which option would you choose? (All in their prime) 1. Tiger Woods to make a 6-footer. 2. LeBron James to make a free throw. 3. Adam Vinatieri to make a 50-yard FG. 4. Lionel Messi to make a penalty kick.

HEARTBREAKING: #Rams star QB Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly Stafford posted that she is extremely angry that the media calls him Matt. “What gets me is that he's been playing in the league now for close to 2 decades and people who have jobs reporting on it, still call him Matt. I find it highly disrespectful, but honestly kinda goes along with Matthew’s whole career.” 💔

No NFL team is strong at every starting position group on the field. The Chicago Bears weakest position is defensive line, but they are arguably strong at every other position. Strong at QB, O-line, WRs, TEs, LBs, DBs, and solid at RB. #DaBears

@RotoLounge Take out all the first rounders. In non SF that’s 8. Than there is Denzel Boston. Even in SF you’re up to 11. Who is better at 12? Coleman? Bernard? At worst the guys like the 2.02-2.04 in SF. I don’t get Stowers > Sadiq guys. Think that will end poorly for them.

Here’s why I believe the Bears haven’t addressed the D-line: 1. Ryan Poles has misread the board a few times, and hasn’t been aggressive 2. Dennis Allen is very specific with his fits, narrowing the board. 3. Ben Johnson leans many picks toward offense. #DaBears

@AustinAbbott @BaconGamesJesse I think it's pretty easy to criticize the process when they draft an RB at 3 overall when they have a million other needs at premium positions and now they're paying top dollar to a RB and still have no oline or defense.

Thoughts from Day 1: - The Ty Simpson pick at 13 made me jump out of my chair, the worst pick in the 1st round imo - Carnell Tate at 4 really caught me off guard as well, although I don’t mind it - Jeremiyah Love at 3.. unpopular opinion but I’m honestly on board with this pick - Jordyn Tyson to the Saints at 8, Tyler Shough must be ecstatic.. A+ - Chiefs didn’t have to trade up to get Mansoor Delane at 6, this was surprising to me - I cannot comprehend that Arvell Reese fell to 5.. his floor was pick 3 imo, unreal out come - Kenyon Sadiq, Omar Cooper Jr. and David Bailey at the end of the day are all very good prospects, just keep stacking them. Rare Jets W - Rueben Bain Jr. falling to 15.. Bucs got the best value in the entire class - KC Concepcion at 24 to Cleveland was what I expected, they needed to add another legitimate weapon - Makai Lemon is going to fit in extremely well with Philly, pairing him with DeVonta Smith will be problematic - Jadarian Price to Seattle at 32 felt highly unnecessary, it’s hard to criticize Seattle’s process after how well their decisions panned out last season though

Strong fantasy outcome for Jeremiyah Love. The highest-investment back on this team is Tyler Allgeier, a back with no history of passing down usage. There's an obvious commitment to the run here, but if (when) the defense melts down, Brissett brings a floor to the offense.

If and when Jordyn Tyson goes top 10 in the Draft you really think I'm going to let injuries hold me back from drafting him 1.04-1.05 in rookie drafts that are already heavily discounted? The risk is smaller than it's ever been in the top 5. Draft him.
