@airmainengineer The tail rotor or its links etc came apart and impacted the turbine gear box area and then came apart completely or something went wrong in the gearbox turbine area and then the tail rotor came apart by video evidence alone. You can see something impact avove the turbine.

@fl360aero Motor lost power which slowed the forward speed. In this type of craft the rotating blade acts like a normal airplanes wing, its not a lift blade. As it slows its like shrinking the wing, they can only glide so far. It was already barely going fast enough to keep from stalling.

A Harbin XLI (Celier Xenon) gyroplane was involved in an accident during a sightseeing flight over the Chaka Salt Lake tourist area in China. While conducting a low-altitude flight, the gyroplane reportedly encountered the rotor downwash (wake turbulence) generated by another gyroplane operating nearby. The disturbance caused the aircraft to lose control and descend, crashing into an area where tourists were present. The gyroplane was substantially damaged. Two tourists on the ground sustained injuries after being struck by the aircraft. The occupants of the gyroplane were not injured, and there were no fatalities. Preliminary information on Contributing Factor: Encounter with the rotor downwash (wake turbulence) from another gyroplane during low-altitude operations. I have been briefed on today’s horrifying stabbings on the Upper West Side, where an Asian man and a Jewish man were attacked. According to witness and victim statements, the perpetrator yelled “Allahu Akbar” during both attacks. I am relieved that both victims are in stable condition. The NYPD responded immediately and arrested Raul Morales in connection with both assaults—and I am grateful to the officers for their swift response. The NYPD’s initial investigation suggests that mental health may have been a factor. They are also evaluating these stabbings as potential hate crimes. These hateful and despicable attacks have no place in our city.
