Front office wasn’t joking when they said they’re prioritizing character. It doesn’t matter if they play in the NHL or not. Most of these prospects will develop together and set the tone for the group. As the largest amount of players and being group ‘one’ passing on talent may make sense. We don’t need any rock stars, hot shots or socially awkward weirdos in the system ever again. This group of leaders and character guys will hold the current and future pool accountable, and later on down the line keep any untamed wild cards in check. I see the vision.
