Not only did Africans sell our ancestors to European enslavers, but American chattel slavery should NEVER be compared to colonialism. Colonialism in Ghana lasted 83 years. Slavery in America lasted 246 years. And from my perspective, African countries that engaged in the flesh trade made a deal with the devil. What did Africans expect would be the outcome?
