Mentos uses sugar alcohols like sorbitol, xylitol and mannitol for sweetness. Sugar alcohols are not fully absorbed by your digestive system. In small amounts, they are fine. In large amounts like eating 20 to 38 pieces in an hour. they pull water into your bowels and ferment. This can lead to severe bloating, gas, stomach cramps, and a very strong laxative effect. Your jaw muscles aren't even designed to chew continuously for an hour straight without a break. If you do this regularly, it can cause headaches and strain on the temporomandibular joint. Chew only 1 to 3 pieces a day.

MTN wants to pay me #500,00 to take down this post💔💔‼️ Yesterday I called out MTN and how they steal data from their users The post made serious waves and a lot of small accounts and influencers with millions of followers joined me to call out MTN I just checked my DM now and saw MTN wants me to take down the post. I’m tempted to accept the money but something came to my mind If i accept this #500,000 wouldn’t I spend more that this if MTN don’t stop stealing data from Nigerians? If I accept this money I’ll be saving only myself and leaving other Nigerians to be victims of MTN’S theft @MTNNG I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR #500,000 STOP STEALING FROM NIGERIANS THAT IS ALL WE WANT!!!

B33JAY🪽@beejay0x

I just confirmed that @MTNNG steals data from their users‼️‼️💔 I’ve been having suspicions that MTN have been stealing data because of the rate at which my data finishes so fast even if I don’t download anything So yesterday by 3:52 PM I bought 11GB data for 3500 naira I put my phone on power saving mode so no app in the background will be able to use data I didn’t download or upload any videos and I’ve been using my phone lightly. I felt like all this wasn’t enough so i decided to download an app that tracks my data usage This afternoon MTN sent me a message that I have just 4GB of data left Checked the app and saw I used only 3GB from the 11GB I bought yesterday Now my question to MTN is this If I used 3GB from 11GB that means I should have 8GB left Why do I have just 4GB left? Where did my remaining 4GB go??? All evidence attached in the screenshots below👇👇👇 We need to call out MTN for these recent thefts as I’m sure I’m not the only one facing this problem

I’ve always bought iPhones and always from Apple direct or alternatively from Best Buy or Costco and I think once from Fry’s. So I’m trying to buy a brand new Samsung Fold 7 locally here and the price variation is outstanding. Up to a million naira. I’m hearing new terminologies like “Non Active” and “Repacked”. So my question is for someone like me that just wants a brand new factory sealed phone at discount price, where do you go? Thanks.

@PeterObi This is very sad. If you all cannot put every difference aside, resolve your internal issues, and stand strong as one, undivided opposition, what hope is there to wrestle power from an incumbent candidate? I boldly say none!

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@Blue_Footy Maresca himself also played a part in this. He had Joao Felix to interchange with Palmer, but he chose to use the former as a permanent fixture in the 'B/Conference League' team.

We actually anticipated a difficult season for Cole Palmer after he had played non-stop for two seasons. We chased a backup all summer and ended up with Buonanotte, ignoring Maresca’s plea for a CB after losing our best and most important CB. We were careless, unambitious, and arrogant last summer. We actually put ourselves in this situation.

Whatever you do, don’t ever make the mistake of taking the interest upfront and spending it carelessly, thinking it’s a “gain” or that you’ve cheated the system. It is simply compensation for the value your money will lose over the next eight months. Yes, your ₦1.5M will remain intact, but I promise you, it won't have the same purchasing power then as it does now. I might do a thread on alternatives to help your ₦1.5M work harder for you (if y'all go easy on me), while still focusing strictly on PRESERVING YOUR CAPITAL.

Dinner last night with my wife and her mother Mother-in-law asked what I've been working on I said, "A cost optimization framework with a 90-day execution window targeting a 200 basis point margin recovery through strategic headcount initiatives" She looked at my wife My wife didn't look up from her menu. She's heard this before. "He's firing eleven people on Monday" I said, "Potentially twelve. Depends on the Q3 bonus accrual" Mother-in-law asked how I decide who I said, "Sort payroll descending. Cross-reference vesting schedules. Anyone with unvested equity triggering in the next 90 days gets moved to the top of the list. You eliminate the liability before it becomes a cash event" She said, "Do you even think about their families?" I said, "Dependents are factored into the benefits cost per head. So yes" My wife closed her eyes Mother-in-law asked how I sleep at night I said, "On a Tempur-Pedic. Highly recommend for lower back support" She said, "I meant morally" I said, "I don't understand the question" The waiter came back with our food It was my analyst He set down the plates, pulled a folded spreadsheet from his apron, and whispered, "Updated the severance model. Jenkins in accounting has a retention bonus vesting June 15. Recommend accelerating termination to June 12 to avoid the trigger" I nodded Mother-in-law said, "Does he work for you?" I said, "He works for the shareholders" He refilled her water and went back to the kitchen I pulled out my phone and showed them the bridge chart "See that red bar? That's $1.4M in fully-loaded compensation" Swiped right The red bar was gone "That's the Monday version" Mother-in-law said, "Those are people" I said, "Those are line items with benefits exposure" She looked at the ceiling My wife does that too. Must be a family thing. I ordered dessert and asked if anyone wanted to see the sensitivity table No one responded The analyst brought it anyway Sent from my iPhone

Dear men, I just wanted to share this before I fully move on from this topic because I want posterity to see that I made an effort. It’s Saturday, and today is a good day to take that first step toward bonding with your kids. We know it has been a very busy week, and you are tired. If you’re home, please try not to sleep all day. Get some rest, then ask your kids to find a book and read to you. If they fear you, calmly reassure them that they are not in trouble and that reading to you will make you feel better. Seeing that they can help you in a vulnerable moment will make them happy. Ask them to tell you their favorite stories. Do they like to play football? Watch them play and cheer them on. Do they enjoy playing “suwe”? Cheer them on while they play. Do you have any games at home? Play with them. Do they have a favorite movie? Watch it with them. Ask about their week. Find out what they like and don’t like about school. Talk to them about your work. Share what you do for a living and explain it in a way they can understand. Let them be close to you. Use a calm voice with them. Don’t let it be that the only time they hear your voice is when they do something wrong. As their father, be their confidant and comforter, not just their punisher. When their mother reports them to you, tell her to handle the situation. Don’t discipline them over everything. Sometimes, you just need to talk to them. Praise and boost their confidence when they do something right. When they make mistakes, encourage them to learn from them. Children will always be children; they will make mistakes. It is our responsibility to guide them. Make them comfortable in the house you built for them. Don’t let them walk on eggshells around you. Eat with them. Relax with them. If you are not home with them, today is a good day to call and check on them. Don’t tell their mom to say hi to them, ask her to give them the phone so you can speak to them directly. If they fear you enough not to want to talk, ask their mom to put the phone on speaker. Don’t you think they would love to hear your voice? Don’t you think it’s important for them to know that you are okay? Don’t you think they miss their dad? Hearing your voice could make their day. Call them and ask what they ate. If their mom calls you to report them, tell her you trust her to handle it. She can discipline them too. When you get home, talk to them about it and give them tips on how to avoid making the same mistakes. You can speak to them for just a minute, and it will always be worth it. Tell them you miss them and that you can’t wait to see them. Showing that you care will give them comfort.

He wanted him at Napoli after a season with ups and downs at Roma, but above all, he relaunched him at Inter, allowing him to then secure a significant contract at Chelsea. At Inter, they told me that Lukaku wasn’t always impeccable in managing his diet, so Conte was crucial to his development.” {Tutto Napoli}

When I went for my relocation documentation at the secretariat in Surulere, I was waiting for my friend at the gate, close to the gateman when one woman came and asked him to direct her to who she could speak with because she owns a private school and needs teachers (corps members). The man said he didn't know exactly who she was supposed to meet, then he asked her how much she would pay the corps members. She said no payment. Then the man asked about accommodation, and she said no accommodation. The man said, "Madam, them no go attend to you." She asked why. He said, "There's no way you'll want corps members and you won't give them monthly stipends or accomodation" I felt so good after hearing that response 😂😂. The woman was lost for words. Since they increased this NYSC allowance to 77k, these people think they don't need to pay corp members anymore especially schools. They pay some people 5k, 10k for what exactly?? And this woman said she wouldn't pay. Na since I dey secondary school I don get phobia to serve for school. Corps members serving in schools are really trying. These employers don't know what they are doing for them all in the name of serving their country.
