For far too long, the Iranian regime has pursued nuclear capabilities while exporting violence and supporting terrorist networks that threaten the United States, our allies, and stability around the world. Their actions have endangered American lives and undermined peace in an already volatile region.
The President has made clear that the United States will always seek peace, but we will never hesitate to defend our people and our national interests. Iran’s continued hostility and disregard for international norms have brought us to a serious and consequential moment.
America must stand firm in protecting our citizens, supporting our allies, and upholding peace through strength.
Please keep the men and women of our Armed Forces in your prayers as they carry out this mission, along with the families who support them from home. Their service represents the very best of our nation. May God protect them, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

Last night, I took my seat in the House Chamber to hear President Trump outline the progress made during his first year back in office and share his priorities for the year ahead.
Under President Trump’s leadership, we are restoring economic strength, reasserting American leadership on the world stage, securing our border, and putting American families first. His commitment to the America First agenda is not just rhetoric. It is delivering real results and renewed confidence across our nation.
I was proud to stand in support of an agenda that prioritizes our workers, our military, our law enforcement, and our values. There is more work to be done, but the direction is clear and the momentum is strong. I remain committed to partnering with President Trump to advance policies that keep our nation strong, secure, and prosperous for generations to come.
I left the chamber grateful for the trust Central Texans have placed in me and more committed than ever to serving faithfully and responsibly, always with future generations in mind.

Killeen is the center of Texas military might—and our veterans deserve care that matches that. This new VA clinic brings quicker, quality care to our community. Proud to help make it happen alongside my friend @JudgeCarter.

It was a really good day in Killeen and Copperas Cove yesterday as we announced a new VA outpatient clinic. This clinic is going to cut down on drive times, expand access to mental health and specialty care, and create more than 500 jobs. Most importantly, it means better support for our veterans, military families, and retirees who call this community home.
Thank you @SecVetAffairs for your help in ensuring this project got to the finish line.

It’s great to be in City of Temple today to announce a $19 million investment in the Crestview neighborhood.
The Henderson Parkway and Trail Project is about making this community safer, more connected, and better prepared for the future.
This project will build a new two-lane roadway with sidewalks, a bike lane, and a 12-foot shared-use trail along Knob Creek. It will connect to Avenue H and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, eliminate unsafe dead-end streets, improve traffic flow, and address long-standing drainage concerns.
Most importantly, it reflects what happens when neighbors speak up and local leaders listen. Through Temple’s Love Where You Live initiative, residents identified the needs, and together we worked to help make this investment a reality.

Great meeting with the Texas Rural Health Association to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing rural healthcare in our great state.
For folks in our rural communities, access to quality care is not optional. It is essential. I remain committed to supporting our rural hospitals, clinics, and providers through my work in Congress, making sure resources are directed where they are needed most.
Rural Texas matters. I will continue working to ensure families can access the care they need close to home.

Friday, I was honored to be in Marble Falls announcing more than $1 million in funding to support local healthcare.
In rural communities, access to timely medical care can make all the difference. When someone comes into the emergency room with a serious injury or stroke symptoms, they shouldn’t have to wait longer for imaging or be sent miles away for care.
This investment helps ensure families here can get the care they need, when they need it, close to home.

Had a great time this morning with the folks at City of Georgetown, Texas - Government. More than a year of hard work resulted in my office delivering $3.5 million to help construct new water lines serving 25,000 homes. I was proud to partner with the city and local officials to get this done.

It was great to visit @TAMU Health Science Center campus in Round Rock this week. Through our partnership, we secured $800,000 to jumpstart a new program aimed at combating fentanyl and helping prevent drug overdoses in our communities. This program will save lives, and I’m grateful to have played a role in getting it off the ground.

This was a hard weekend for our nation and for Texas. The winter storm reminded us just how quickly conditions can turn dangerous, and how much we rely on the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way to keep our communities safe.
To every law enforcement officer, first responder, and emergency worker who stayed on the roads, answered the calls, and showed up when others could not, thank you. Your commitment, courage, and service do not go unnoticed, and Central Texas is safer because of you.

Weather update: Cold temperatures and icy roadways continue.
Our officers remain out in the field monitoring conditions and assisting as needed.
Please avoid unnecessary travel and use caution if you must be on the roads.
Stay safe, Round Rock.
