@JudgeofCShack @GBNT1952 I was there. I was in Iraq. I remember vividly the lead-up to the conflict, too. At no point was there any question whether we'd deploy a large force to either theater on the ground. We all spent months watching the build-up for Iraq in Kuwait take place.

Don’t be idiotic mate…we are already having issues with fuel supply because of the war with Iran and their closure of the Strait of Hormuz…unlike the US we are not independent in terms of oil. We are an ally of the US and have recently paid $800 million towards the AUKUS agreement for the US to supply us with Virginia class nuclear submarines soon…Australian crew were onboard the sub that recently sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean and we rely on the US to protect us from China and its ambitions in our region…any future nuclear war would not confine itself to your hemisphere chum so we are concerned with all of this that is going on including with Iran trying to obtain nuclear weapons 🤔🤫🤨

It’s funny, we said the same thing about Afghanistan and Iraq. 20 plus years later. But I hope you’re right. The solution I would seek would be to completely wipe the entire country off the face of the earth. Every single one of them, gone. But that absolutely won’t happen. So we will be left with more enemies and the cycle will continue.

This one im actually good with. Providing it doesn’t turn into an occupation. But regime change is always the end goal and that doesn’t happen without occupation. Iran has been a thorn for a long time. I am a bit skeptical of the timing but that could also be previous admins placating them and not doing shit.
