Just read a copy of this silly book, and if anyone is curious for a review from someone who lived it first-hand: this book is political fairy smut for the permanent, professional chattering class. The ones who rarely enter the arena, but profit from the spectacle of those that do. Put simply, it amounts to a bunch of unoriginal, uninspired lies written by irresponsible self promoting journalists out to make a quick buck. It relies on unnamed, anonymous sources pushing a self-serving false narrative that absolves them of any responsibility for our current national nightmare. All of this at the expense of a man so completely good and honest that it is impossible for these people to ever understand the why or how of it all. There are real stories to be told and one day they will be. I suspect history will reward the truth.

@MatthewCappucci @MyRadarWX I remember that day. I walked over to my daughter's house in the tracks of cars that had driven out of my development because walking on the unplowed snow was too hard. The car behind me waiting to exit wasn't too happy with me! 😄

When was the last time we got this much snow? January 3, 2022, when D.C. got 6.9 inches of snow. I spent the morning building snowmen and talking about frontogenesis on TV, and then flew to Denver in the afternoon to cover wildfires for @MyRadarWX. Seems like forever ago! ❄️

Southerner who didn’t grow up in a snow culture - when are we shoveling? Do we wait for it to stop snowing or go ahead and shovel while it’s still soft? What’s the protocol here?

@MatthewCappucci The DMV doesn't know how to handle snow. 😄 On the other hand, the school district my son-in-law worked for in MA would wait till the morning of the storm to notify and teachers were told last. 😲

Honestly unsure why D.C. schools haven’t closed yet. It’s D.C. I’m from Boston. I see how D.C. handles snow. The storm isn’t sneaky. We all know the schools are going to close.
