@SAS I see from the internet this is an ongoing problem for years: why does your website think I am a bot? This is sudden, after years of successfully using the website. None of the suggested solutions works.

My new book is out in the world! GOLD ON THE HORIZON explores the literary landscape of Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. How does Susan echo Anglo-Saxon poets? What is Eustace's connection to The Faerie Queene? What about the Blowing Stone? And much more...

A hefty lump of Flint/Chert from the Papay shore today. This rock type is completely absent in Orkneys geology; but occasionally found as glacially transported pebbles (usually on east side beaches) or, like this, a 'ballast stone' from the days of wooden ships. @BritGeoSurvey

Instead of celebrating my iconic arrival, some of you thought that mocking me will boost your likes? Cute 💅 Since 1947, I’ve stood tall as Norway’s fir-mly rooted thank-you - I’m a timeless symbol of unity, not your clickbait. 🎄 Find out more 👇 linktr.ee/trafalgartree

@jpwarchaeology Where do you get your Staffordshire Oatcakes in Nottingham? (Sainsbury's used to do them but I haven't seen them there in ages...) Good luck with the book sales!
