It's okay to miss loved ones.
It's okay to not feel 'festive’.
It's okay if you want some space.
We all heal differently.
Do what works for you and helps you on your grief journey. 1/2

More of us are aware of mental health. But many of us aren’t getting the right support. We’re still facing stigma and discrimination.
Start a conversation, fundraise, or take that first step to support your own/a loved one’s mental health.

I'm mindful that grief can be overwhelming & reading about it can be a reminder. Please reach out for support if it would help.
CRUSE, the Good Grief Trust, Samaritans or Grief Chat are all fab. Your GP might be able to help too.

@lynn_laidlaw@DeborahAlsina@FrimleyHealth@kesleeman Care within a Hospital should be seamless & intergrated 24 hrs a day 7 days a week … Sadly the ‘out of hours’ ie weekend ,culture has persisted within the NHS for as far back as I can remember
Yesterday a Dr said my mother not a priority for palliative assessment (palliative nurse kinder!) Hey I get lots of people are v sick but my mum is 91, has complete heart block, treatment has stopped - the odds of long term aren't good. Wld be good to know pathway & options.
What makes this final stage of my mother's life easier is that we've talked about it over the years so I'm very clear about her wishes.
@DyingMatters also has useful resources and has run some gr8 awareness campaigns over the years.

What’s happening @British_Airways? Shifted to Iberian airlines on flight to Palma and now stuck on plane on runway not knowing when we’re going to depart due to French air traffic controllers strike. Not being offered any food or drink. Why board us? Could have stayed in airport.
