@wcvbrhondella FYI regarding your remark this morning about the Home Depot Halloween buckets, you’d mix cement (a dry powder), aggregate (sand, stone) and water to make CONCRETE, not cement. Calling concrete cement is akin to calling a cake flour. #IAmACivilEngineer

@MarthaRaddatz You stated “…through the cement and steel…” in your ABC #worldnewstonight report tonight. The correct term is “concrete and steel.” Cement is a dry powder that is mixed with water and aggregate to make concrete. #IAmACivilEngineer

@ABCMireya FYI on the proper terminology for your report on tonight’s news: “The cement from these creek walls literally ripped off…”. Cement (a dry powder) is mixed with aggregate and water to form concrete. The correct term is “concrete” instead of cement. #IAmACivilEngineer

.@mariastephanos On tonight’s news you used the phrase “cement curb.” The correct term is “concrete curb.” Cement is a dry powder that’s mixed with aggregate (sand) and water to make concrete. Calling concrete cement is akin to calling a fruit cake flour. #IAmACivilEngineer

.@mariastephanos FYI the correct terminology is “the snow is like concrete” NOT that it’s like cement. Cement is a dry gray powder that is mixed with aggregate and water to make concrete. What you said is akin to calling a cake “flour.” #IAmACivilEngineer #ASCE

.@DavidMuir FYI the proper term is “crushed concrete,” not “crushed cement.” Just like a cake is made with flour, concrete is made with cement (and water and aggregate). Cement is a dry gray powder. #IAmACivilEngineer #ASCE

Hey, @ReeveWill: I just heard you on @GMA… fyi it’s “concrete” not “cement.” (Cement, water, and aggregate mixed together form concrete.) Calling it cement is akin to calling a cake “flour.” #IAmACivilEngineer

If you could give someone only one recommendation where to go for donuts in Massachusetts, where are you telling them to go?
