🧠 When left unaddressed, mental health and psychosocial needs, as well as traumas, can have deep, lasting impacts on individuals, families, communities, and societies. In 2025, the ICRC supports mental health and psychological support programmes in 34 countries.

In the conflict-affected area of Abergele, #Tigray region, the @ICRC implemented an innovative, integrated farming system. Connecting vegetables, poultry, & fish, it recycles poultry manure & fishpond water to grow crops, maximizing productivity for 60 households. Watch 👇🏽

Hearing good news from @ICRC-#Somalia field teams. Farming cooperatives we support in Jowhar and Beletweyne (250 farmers) are reporting a bumper harvest. Nearly double last year’s (73'000 to 134'000 kg). A shift in planting time helped avoid effects of droughts/floods. Huge win!

Jointly with @SRCS_SD, we've delivered cash assistance to 42,000 displaced people who fled to Tawila area from El #Fasher, North Darfur, due to the ongoing fighting. The assistance help them to get food and shelter and other basics. #Sudan
