Then “#womenemerging need to take men with you” true, we must, but do most men want to? The many fantastic men who do must surely wake up & recognise what a small minority they are. Maybe be a more vocal minority?

And this is why I judge faculty on how they treat those “below” them: students, trainees, cleaning staff, etc. Institutions of higher education that teach that power is to be worshipped or chased after are not doing their job. Knowledge illuminates and it equips servant leaders.

When I was less prepared, my empathy was used against me to give away too much.
When I was well prepared, my understanding of value and a fair deal mitigated feelings.
As long as I have a clear framing and targets, I do very well.

My mother had her first vaccine dose just before Christmas and her second just after.
I do hope many many more people all over the world will soon feel the relief I now feel. She is now safe and the world feels more hopeful
