This gets to me. We lost badly.
In my patch, 2017 saw the single biggest increase in Burnley's Tory vote share in history, up 17.5%.
We chose to spin and ignore that reaction from our voters. Never again.

6 years ago today concluded the most remarkable campaign in British political history. We were told you can't add more than 2-3% to starting poll figure. We added 16. We were told policy didnt matter. Our manifesto was the star. Biggest increase in the Labour vote since 1945.
