@edzitron They’ve been charging US$3.79 since July, I have the screenshots, less if you rent for longer. I estimate they lose 25% on the cost of debt buying and renting Blackwells, assuming a 2.5 year economic life and assuming the price doesn’t fall.

Seems like Lambda is charging about $3.79/hr per B200 GPU - i realise the price seems whacky here but it's for 16 B200 GPUs in a pod for 168 hours ($60.64 an hour for 16, so $3.79/hr). Seems available, but I have emailed to confirm

45 days ago, we submitted a permit application for a 1 bed, 1 bath pre-approved ADU on a simple flat lot.
We built the exact same one last year in just 45 days – from breaking ground to final inspection. Pictured below.
Now, it's taking the city longer to approve the permit than it takes us to build the home. And this is supposed to be an expedited fire rebuild permit!
Make it make sense.

FEMA projects spending 21.68b in FY25 from the disaster relief fund on Covid-19 relief, including ~15b from Jan thru Sept. So remember that 29b for Disaster Relief in the late December "American Relief Act". Seems half of it will be spent on Covid-19 relief.
