Today we were at Butambala Chief Magistrate’s Court for the case of Hon Muwanga Kivumbi and 24 others. Court ruled that two of the accused persons are below 18 years as indicated by the Defence team, and that they should be transferred from Kitalya Prison to Naguru Remand Home which is meant for juveniles.
We further pressed that the state should expedite investigations into this matter, so that the evidence of “Terrorism” against the accused can be availed…IF ANY!
We also continue to demand for justice for the people who were killed in cold blood at the home of Hon Muwanga Kivumbi.

Mr. Arnold Mukose, a journalist with the Alternative Digitalk media, was abducted two days ago after concluding a talkshow. Yesterday, the military also attempted to abduct Digitalk's proprietor, Norman Tumuhimbise, when they raided his home. The whereabouts of Arnold, and the justification for these actions, are currently unknown. We demand that the regime respect Arnold's rights by either setting him free or allowing him the due process of law if he committed any crime. The persecution of citizens because of their opinions MUST STOP!

Former SFC and Military Police commander Gen Don Nabaasa has just been arrested. Looks like the son is cleaning the streets of some certain racket that’s been in play for some time.
Plays @mugishamuntu’s video of TIME!

"U.S. officials have condemned the suppression of opposition and called for accountability in the wake of Museveni's disputed seventh term, with some lawmakers calling for a review of security aid."

How can my rights and dignity be a subject of negotiation?
NBS is just a peddler or fake results, fake narratives!
My return to my home country is a right and I will soon return to Uganda, and the regime can do whatever they want.
Standing against Museveni (and beating him) is only a crime in the eyes of NBS, not in the eyes of the law.

I have seen baseless reports from a number of news outlets alleging that we are in negotiations with government over a dignified return of our President @HEBobiwine and that’s NOT TRUE!
The National Unity Platform will today issue a statement to clear the air over the same!
