@not__vee I’ve learnt this from personal experience. Never lend money to someone who is irresponsible with it, to the point they are asking you for money. Ex friend who spend all of his money on himself and weed, yet ask me for money, took me years to cut him off and I did lose a lot.

Murder is NEVER justified, but I found some extra context that I thought would be interesting to share. The viewer was not "parasocial" or "anti-fan" in the traditional sense as a viewer that never spoke to their favorite streamer before. He had met up with the woman multiple times before. They would text through LINE, and she would borrow money multiple times from him without repayment. His last straw was when he gave $25k around late 2023, and has been asking for the money back since then, with no repayment. This is not him donating money on stream and asking for it back, this is him lending money as she personally reaches out to him and asks for it. He was in his 40s and schizophrenic. Streamers, practice basic safety and don't leech off of your viewers like this. Incredibly sad story

"Black Lagoon" author Rei Hiroe opened up about his battle with depression in a new interview. He stated that he believes the death of his ailing father and the intensity he put into working on the "Roberta's Revenge" arc, were some of the factors that led to his depression.
Juggling his father's illness and the fans' mixed reception to "Roberta's Revenge" caused Hiroe a great deal of stress. He tried to push through the stress to meet fan demand, but it burnt him out and led to the manga's hiatus. Hiroe credit's his editors patience and understanding to work with him to continue his work.
