@trigottista @BwalaDaniel Daniel Bwala is dead? He said so much in his lifetime. This would be a sad loss for the media department of this administration. With the amount of thngs he said when he was alive, where can he go in the afterlife now?

Spot on. I went to the pharmacy to collect a prescription and I was asked to pay and I did. This is me having paid these monies you have just quoted. Then beside me was a British able bodied man much younger than I am who had also come to collect his own prescriptions. When he was asked to pay, he proudly told the lady he's been signed of off work for life. The way he said it was with his full chest. It was as if he'd hit some goldmine. Guess what? He's just 27, had a vape on one hand and a burger on the other. I said to myself, here am I being punished heavily via tax for having a second job and here is another person so much younger than I am being given a pat on the back for the rest of his life. Life couldn't be much fairer than this.

I know you're always the professional Aunt Tomasina who babysits far-right nutjobs for engagement & to put food on the table, but at least read the tweets before you start squealing. ILR takes 5 years. For 5 years, migrants have had "No Recourse to Public Funds." No housing, no benefits. No access to basic safety nets in a country whose current architecture is designed from the ground up with those safety nets as a foundation. What they DO have is a crushing tax burden: Income Tax, National Insurance, Council Tax, etc. Add to that thousands in upfront visa fees & the £1,035/year Immigration Health Surcharge—both officially the highest in the ENTIRE world. They are legally double-taxed for the NHS before they even step foot in the country, funding the exact same system you're saying they should be locked out of. 😅 The UK is widely regarded as the most expensive country in the world to migrate to. A large percentage of NHS staff are immigrants. They are the doctors, nurses, & care workers physically holding the welfare state together. Demanding they do all this without a healthcare safety net is like forcing someone to build a lifeboat they aren't allowed to board. Research on how the healthcare systems in the countries you're listing operate before name-dropping them, because starting with Thailand shows me how unserious you are. The UK can change its laws for future arrivals, but it has a binding obligation to those already here. The legal principle of legitimate expectation means you cannot simply move the goalposts halfway through the game. They have every right to demand that the rules they signed up for are the rules they are judged by.
Lin Mei@linmeitalks

No one demands a safety net when they move to Thailand or Australia, the Caribbean, Middle East etc … why do migrants come to the U.K. and demand this safety net?? Come here, work hard, be self sufficient and people will want you to stay or won’t mind immigration as much …. But arriving and expecting access to social housing, the NHS and benefits, no wonder people don’t want migrants to have access as they’ll abuse it just like the Brits have.

At the Vatican Museum, Madam noticed that all the sculptures depicted men that were…erm…rather small down there. I first got her to confirm that they were smaller than Ezemmuo and then, having cleared any doubts, I ordered her to say 10 Hail Marys. 😂

My younger sister in the UK and her husband recently welcomed a baby boy, so I contacted a food vendor to prepare a special nursing mum soup for her. I explained exactly how I wanted it prepared. A few hours later, my sister sent me a picture of the soup, along with two additional bowls of yam pepper soup. I was surprised because I hadn’t ordered them. The vendor had simply gone out of her way to prepare an extra dish for my sister. Such a thoughtful gesture, and I was genuinely grateful. Guys, if you’re in the Portsmouth or Southsea area, please patronize her! She prepares and sells all kinds of delicious meals and can also make dishes that aren’t listed on her menu. You can check out her Instagram page or send her a message on WhatsApp. Good food and thoughtful service deserve to be appreciated and supported! Please retweet for more reach.

Some Nigerian are very funny set. I’m the one who made a decision to renounce my Nigerian citizenship, applied for it and spent my own money. A citizenship I have because my parents are Nigerian and you are crying non stop about it 😂😂 What is going on ? Have you not heard that people renounced citizenship of first world countries? Some of you need to go out and touch grass. Nigerian as a country has not offered me any thing, so I didn’t even think it twice to renounce my Nigerian Citizenship. I have done things for Nigeria and will continue to do. As a matter of fact I have investment in Nigeria more than any other country that has offered me more in life than Nigeria Cameroon as my country of birth has offered me more than Nigeria. I have nothing there. What is there to be proud of Nigerian citizenship that some of you are hallucinating about. My reality is not yours. Mine is mine and yours is yours. If I want to visit Nigeria, I will apply for a visa and if they don’t approve my visa, I won’t visit. That is my choice. Make yours. Good morning Evening, have a wonderful day and God bless You and Yours, Amen 🙏

Lol, he said family members would support you in Nigeria after your N60,000 finishes. One thing I find surprising is how these politicians are quick to say, "the ones that japa are busy doing care work and warehouse jobs," thereby degrading these jobs as if people doing them are not making an honest living.

Daniel Bwala (Spoke man to Tinubu) said a Nigerian earning ₦60,000 now is better than a Nigerian who Japa Five years ago to UK 🇬🇧. So my question is that what would you prefer : 1) Care Worker ( UK 🇬🇧) : £2200 monthly and after UK 🇬🇧 expenses you can still save £500 2) Earning ₦60,000 in Nigeria and after expenses you can save nothing. What’s your preference?

Lol you don't need any explanation Sir. We all watched the show and saw how stupid his argument was. A failure was established in Nigeria and instead of offering an explanation, he decided to bring in America to it. It was laughable. You were right to swat his explanation like the fly that he is. If he didn't have any explanation, he would have said respectfully, I don't have any and also express his own shock. He should not have foolishly bring up the argument of 911. The thing you get from these people is that they would defend the indefensible. How many big accounts have you seen offer any disgust at what has happened? None. I put it to you that if Tinubu sleeps with their wives, it just takes an official WhatsApp broadcast message and 20k data and they would defend his actions in their droves. I am not kidding.

I don’t interview guests to embarrass them. I interview them to test arguments. If an explanation can’t withstand scrutiny, the public deserves to know. Comparing a fake agency scandal - along with a governance breakdown involving official institutions - to 9/11 isn’t an answer, it’s a distraction. 9/11 was a catastrophic terrorist attack. What Nigerians are asking about is institutional accountability. Those are not the same conversation. When we blur them, we don't illuminate the truth - we detract from it. There's a difference between explaining a failure, and excusing one. Thank you to everyone who reached out. It’s clear many of us still believe in one simple thing: asking hard questions, and refusing to let bad analogies replace accountability. Journalism isn't about winning arguments. It's about refusing to let bad arguments replace accountability. That’s the job!
