Regarding the reports about the CIA arming Kurds — the sources of this claim (CNN and Reuters) seem to be conflating two different issues which the Trump admin addressed. One pertains to Kurds in Iraq and their U.S. alliance over Syria. The other, a separate conversation, relates to the CIA potentially working with *Iranian Kurds* against the Islamic regime. This is a risky move and separatism should not be supported by the U.S., but that’s still vastly different than the way others are presenting it. No one has cited officials claiming that Iraqi Kurds attacking Iran is on the table. This is important to understand. The U.S. admin should issue a clarification to ensure they are not accused of aiding separatism that will push Iranians the opposite direction.

Nuclear power is the most expensive way to make electricity, the slowest way, the only one whose fuel is radioactive and needs processing before it can be used. And whose waste is radioactive for hundreds of thousands or millions of years. It isn't the solution to anything.
