Clover CUBdate: this orphaned rescue is a fighter! She continues to improve: her blood glucose is stabilizing nicely, and she’s had her catheter removed. She’s eating up a storm, too!
We’re cautiously optimistic that her condition will continue to improve 💕

Did lots of yard work in the front and in back. Potted and repotted some plants, new and old. Cleaned up a lot. Made good lunch of farro & feta for mom, using the dressing I made this morning. Did my schoolwork. It’s how I wanted to spend the day I turned 55. Always more to do.

I have a lot of respect for Haley because she never gives up on the toughest cases. So I'm bummed to learn that no one has stepped up to adopt the cats already in her care. Without adoptions, she can't take more cats.

Dweebert made it through surgery and is recovering in the hospital overnight. I'm very tired so will give details later but basically, his injuries are worse than we thought. They could only address part of it today, he might need more surgery and a specialer specialist 🫠

🚨 SF BAY AREA it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔

Last night at 3:05 a.m. a glass of water was thrown in my face I had no idea what was going on and it turns out Captain crackers was messing around with the cup next to my bed and somehow pushed it onto my face. Worst way to wake up ever 😆😆😆

His paw pads are all ulcerated and bleeding and he's congested and skinny, he has pain meds for tonight and will go to the vet tomorrow. He enjoys churu and would like for me to stop touching his head but I'm unable to do that
