You can probably put Markel Bell to the Bengals in black ink. Mammoth size + good pass blocking profile gives him only 6 comps in our entire database. 3 of them are going to be very familiar to Bengals fans.

Most surprising grade we have given so far? Illinois EDGE Gabe Jacas is 1 of 12 Round 1 grades we have at this point. Incredible 4 years of production, still 21 on draft day, and great strength/speed combo. Current consensus has him in Early Round 2. He’s a target.

Bengals should trade back in the first. Get to pick 22. They would receive a 2nd & 3rd this year + 2nd for 2027. Take pick 22 + conditional 2027 and trade for Crosby. Now they have Crosby + multiple 2nd & 3rd round picks for this year and next year.

The Bengals' 3rd round selection is 20 spots higher than the 3rd round selection SF just traded to acquire DT Osa Odighizuwa. How much better would the Bengals defense be if, in addition to adding Cook & Mafe (both terrific signings), they: ▪️signed Chenal; and ▪️traded for Odighizuwa ...?? They'd be markedly better. Cook and Mafe were an excellent start. Adding Chenal & Odighizuwa would have been additional, fantastic moves to really raise the quality of the defensive personnel. Both moves (signing Chenal and trading for Osa) were easily achievable.

The Lloyd domino falls at the top of the LB market. Gets $15M APY. Panthers land Edge Jaelan Phillips (4yrs/$120M) and LB Lloyd (3yrs/$45M) today. Would have to think Bengals would be open to Leo Chenal.
