There’s no bigger threat to democracy in Europe than the EU.

@Bbmorg Radical Islam is biggest threat to western democracy & Trump is fighting against it. As sadly America is now the last remaining western global superpower.. Britain has fallen & EU failed

I can’t shake this feeling… What if a major crisis or war is used to avoid a General Election, i certainly wouldn’t put Starmer and Labour past doing anything to cling onto power. Am I the only one thinking this?

🚨 BREAKING: US ships are CLEARING the Strait of Hormuz right in Iran's face during negotiations, with reports of ships directly crossing the Strait President Trump PROMISED it would open and says we're now clearing it out "as a favor to countries all over the world" 🔥 "We’re now starting the process of clearing out the Strait of Hormuz as a favor to Countries all over the World, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, and many others. Incredibly, they don’t have the Courage or Will to do this work themselves. Very interestingly, however, empty Oil carrying ships from many Nations are all heading to the United States of America to LOAD UP with Oil. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

🚨 BREAKING… This is not propaganda… this is operational reality. U.S. Navy warships just transited the Strait of Hormuz… openly… without coordinating with Iran. Let that sink in. This is the FIRST confirmed freedom-of-navigation transit through the strait since the conflict began. No permission. No acknowledgment of Iranian control. No compromise. Just movement… on America’s terms. Here’s what that means… Iran mined the waterway… and now can’t even clear what they deployed. Their own strategy just choked their access and exposed their limitations. Meanwhile… the U.S. steps in, begins clearing lanes, and reasserts control over one of the most critical chokepoints on Earth. That’s not symbolism… that’s dominance. And timing matters… This happens days after a fragile ceasefire… right as diplomatic talks are being staged. This is pressure… not negotiation from weakness. Message received globally: The Strait of Hormuz is not Iran’s to control. And when global trade is threatened… the U.S. Navy answers. This is what enforcement looks like in real time. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

I've never used self checkout. Ever. And I never will. Today in Aldi, there was only one person at self checkout and people queuing to use the manned checkouts. When will shops realise the majority of people don't want self checkouts?

I think all the European NATO countries should agree to help the US with its war in Iran in every way possible, since it is in our national security interest to obtain a regime change in Iran, put an end to Iran's nuclear program, and destroy its ballistic missiles program, but only on the conditions that: 1. Trump stops supporting Russia in the peace negotiations with Ukraine 2. The US resumes its military support for Ukraine 3. Trump stops all talks about leaving NATO 4. Trump starts acting like a friend and ally instead of consistently insulting all European leaders

If the Chagos surrender is dead, this is a great victory. One day there should be an inquiry into this shabby saga: the Ministers and officials, under Labour and the Tories, who tried to sell Britain out. Shameful.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

EXCLUSIVE Sir Keir Starmer has been forced to drop legislation which would cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius in a further deterioration of relations with Donald Trump The Times has been told that a bill underpinning the controversial deal will not be included in the King's Speech next month after the US president branded it an "act of great stupidity" and withdrew his support The government stands by the deal and will attempt to persuade Trump to change his mind but has acknowledged that it cannot proceed without his backing Ministers are "deeply frustrated" with Trump, who initially supported the deal after extensive discussions between intelligence agencies but changed his mind during a dispute with Nato over plans to seize Greenland The government believes that it puts the future of Diego Garcia, the UK-US base in the islands which has been used during the Iran war, at risk It is concerned that Mauritius will mount a legal challenge granting it access to the waters around Diego Garcia, making it harder for the base to host nuclear submarines and patrol surrounding waters The deal was highly contentious. It would have seen Britain hand over the islands to Mauritius before immediately entering into a 99-year lease for Diego Garcia. The government claimed it would cost £3.5billion, although the Tories disputed this and said it would cost £35billion his over its lifetime. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…
