The reason a lot of people, especially passionate ones, are bummed about Sonic Frontiers is that, this is the first game in a while that TRIES to make Sonic cool again. The problem is the 2010's style writing and the models prevent it from being WAY COOLER than it could be.

Chainsaw man is about the refusal of the call. What if the hero just kept refusing the call until the mentor acknowledged that it's unfair to impose such heroism upon a kid and took matters into his own hand. Perfect story. A masterpiece

It's funny cause if you say a series made you cry or laugh people will inherently recognize that there was skilled, intentional writing that made you feel those emotions but if you feel hype or excitement from a series that's somehow not due intentional writing and just happens??
