I'm not for equal outcomes. I want unequal outcomes. If you work ten times harder than somebody, you deserve the economic reward. But I do want the kids from the neighborhood I grew up in to be fed, educated, to have healthcare, and to get to the starting block. That's not socialism, that's a rich enough country deciding that some basic level of fairness is worth paying for. Equal opportunity. Not equal outcomes. There's a big difference and we've somehow lost the thread on that distinction entirely. Thank you @wethefifth for having me on the podcast.

The collapse of trust in science is going to go down in history as one of the most sad, bizarre, and destructive social contagions of modern times. We fed billions, cured diseases and powered nations - yet people ran toward conspiracies instead.

@CompSciFact Hmm. That opinion is surprising to me. It seems to me that most of numerical analysis is about dealing with precision issues coming from numerical representation.

Elon Musk on AI during the OpenAI trial: "It (AI) could make us more prosperous, but it could also kill us all. We want to be in a Gene Roddenberry movie, like Star Trek, not so much a James Cameron movie, like Terminator. He then elaborated by comparing AI training to almost like raising a child: "It’s like if you had a very smart child — at the end of the day when the child grows up, you can’t really control that child, but you can try to instill the right values. Honesty, integrity, caring about humanity —being good, essentially."

One of the best days of my life was March of 1972. I was eight years old. My father was a crane operator. My mother was a makeup artist. I walked home from elementary school and came through the side door. My grandmother and my mother were ecstatic. In the unfinished basement of our very small house — a washer and dryer from General Electric had just been installed. No more walking to the laundromat. The joy on those two women's faces left a core memory in the eight-year-old version of me that I have never forgotten. We were a blue-collar, economically aspirational family. Half Italian spoken in the house and nobody went to college. But they had aspirations for their kids to go to college. You're going to do your homework. You're going to live the American dream. The washer and dryer was the evidence. And here's why I'm telling you this. We took families like mine — economically aspirational — and over 40 years we made them economically desperational. That's the tragedy. And that's what we have to fix.

I received a false copyright claim on one of my videos and YouTube removed the video because of this. It's a video about the Riemann Hypothesis. The claim comes from some person who submits a link to their paper about "The Continuity Engine: A Formally Verified Framework Prime Resonance Unification with Medical, Physical, Mathematical Evidence" with links to two unpublished papers that are completely unrelated to my video content. It's obviously some crackpot work, I receive dozens of those a day. YouTube took the video down based on this false claim. The only way they allow me to react to this requires me to submit my personal contact information to some random crank on the internet. Alternatively, I am supposed to hire a lawyer (!!) on my own costs, to track down some random guy from whom I then have to extract my up-front expenses. I have complained to YouTube support about this multiple times. No success, the video is still down. This procedure is completely unacceptable. It allows random people to try and blackmail me into responding to them. I have no time for this bullshit and no patience either. Frankly the only sensible course of action forward that I see is to sue YouTube for facilitating fraudulent DCMA claims. @YouTubeCreators @YouTube

@mihaieremia @claudeai @OpenAI 😂 I'll take this as jest. They need to take all security-related bugs seriously, and even *learn* from them, asking how it happened/got this far. Security is TOTAL REALITY.

Now that Battle Of Nodes is over, I can say it was decently fun, you could find good stuff if you mix @claudeai with @OpenAI and ofc your own knowledge/ideas of the protocol sensible entry points 😈 Let's hope the last Critical I just submitted few minutes ago won't be a good one so we can go ahead and launch it sooner 😁 Let's pray to gods that @AdrianDobrita will throw it to the 🗑️ as invalid for the sake of the launch 🙏

Many assume I’m over-exposed to $EGLD. Truth is, I’m just a long-term proponent of #MultiversX. I get paid exactly $0. I’m exposed (arguably under-exposed) to #EGLD. I post to support EGLD & greater #Web3. I believe that day will come, but patience is needed.

The most insane long game hack of all time! North Korea built an entire trading firm Conference passes In-person meetings Multiple countries Half a year of Telegram messages and working sessions Even $1M of their own capital deposited to look legitimate Then when all the pieces were in place they stole $280M Drift just released the full incident background and it’s wild! Fall 2025: A "quant trading firm" approaches contributors of Drift at a major conference. They Follow up in person across multiple countries. Technically fluent. Verifiable backgrounds. Typical trust building stuff. December-March: They onboard a real Ecosystem Vault and attend working sessions They even deposit $1M to further build ‘trust’ The long con had set in and by early 2026, these weren't strangers anymore They had now built a 6-month working relationship Then they share some repos which is routine stuff The attack vector: a VSCode/Cursor vulnerability flagged by the security community throughout late 2025. Opening a file was enough. Silent code execution. No prompt. No warning. Nothing. The moment the exploit fired, every Telegram message and trace of malware was scrubbed clean No record or trace left Every team managing meaningful TVL is a target and no one is safe from professional jobs such as this Six months of infiltration and a trusted relationship, not just a sketchy email link The bug is patched but the real attack vector was the relationship and patience How do you protect against that? 🤯
