लोग विनोद कापड़ी को @HQ_IDS_India द्वारा 'फिल्ममेकर' के रूप में सेवाएँ देने और उसके घोषित रूप से भारतीय सेना को उसी ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के समय उपहासपूर्ण शब्दों का प्रयोग करने के बाद भी, संभवतः, पैसे देने पर आश्चर्यचकित हैं। क्यों? मंडल सरकारी पैसे नहीं ले रहा? कापड़ी ने भी तो वही किया जो मंडल कर रहा है: वामपंथी एजेंडा चलाना और अवसर मिलने पर सरकार से जुड़ जाना! दोनों में क्या अंतर है? नादेव लैपिड, योग सीखने वाली ईशा, देवदत्त पटनाइक, काम्या जानी समेत कितने उदाहरण हैं जिसमें यही हुआ है। यहाँ नया क्या हुआ है जो इतने उदास हो? वामपंथी की सास मरने पर PM की चिट्ठी जाती है ताकि उनकी ब्रांडिंग हो सके कि कितने समावेशी हैं मोदी जी कि वैचारिक शत्रुओं को भी चिट्ठी भेजते हैं। इस से तो भाजपा और मोदी जी की अच्छी ब्रांडिंग हो रही है न कि वामपंथियों को भी काम देती है क्योंकि उनको काम आता है, भेदभाव नहीं है। यह बात तो अब साबित हो गई है, IT सेलिए ही कह रहे हैं, कि इनको पैसा दिया जा रहा है! मुझे आश्चर्य IDS के हैंडल में उसे 'फिल्ममेकर' लिखने पर नहीं हुआ, मुझे आश्चर्य तब हुआ जब @BJP4India के हैंडल से उसे 'फिल्ममेकर' लिखा गया। फिर थोड़ी देर बाद मंडल की याद आई, तो वह आश्चर्य भी 'MJNKKHTSSKHKH' के स्वर्णिम वाक्य के याद आने से समाप्त हो गया। इस से अधिक आश्चर्य मुझे तब हुआ कि IT सेलिए इस पर उदास और आहत दिखे। अरे ब्रो, वो वाला लॉजिक नहीं दोगे, "हम चाहते हैं कि उधर के लोग जो अच्छा लिखते और बोलते हैं, उनको ओब्लाइज कर के इधर लाएँ, वो हमारे एसेट बनेंगे।"

Yesterday was a long day. I was called for questioning in connection with a case that I believed had no merit, and I attended the questioning to present my version. However, the police arrested me at 5.30 PM. I was granted bail at 10 PM, and the Hon’ble Duty Judge clearly stated that he saw no offence in the case. He also said that he saw no mens rea and failed to understand why I had even been arrested. Grateful to @RaviSharmaTalks and @sidcool2302, the wonderful lawyers who helped me through this. Thankful to the many people, both online and offline, who supported me. I’m truly grateful. Of course, there are many who dislike you and use such opportunities to strike harder when you are down, but that’s fair game. It was your day, and you took it. I can take those blows and come back. At times like these, one realises the importance of ideological support. The people who stood by me at the most crucial juncture were neither close friends nor relatives, but those with whom I am bound by ideology. And it delivered for me when it mattered most. This incident has added many new layers of perspective, most importantly the ones we usually miss in the melee of day-to-day social media discourse. I’ll write about the specifics of this case another day. For now, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been a well-wisher. I’m grateful. Thank you for monitoring the situation.

When the night magistrate gave him bail within 5 hours at 10 PM tonight, it was made clear by the honorable court that he did not do anything wrong. Advocate @RaviSharmaTalks ably assisted by @sidcool2302 appeared on behalf of the influencer. Sources say that the Delhi Police was pulled up by the court and asked who pressured them to carry out the arrest. The case has no legal grounds, none whatsoever. But there is more to this than what meets the eye. Why was he arrested in such haste? Who ordered his arrest? More questions will be asked and more answers will come out soon. @DelhiPolice @CPDelhi

Forget Udhayanidhi for a second. Did even one Hindu MLA stand up and object? Not one? Nearly 200 Hindu legislators sat there listening to ‘eradication of Sanatan’ speeches in silence. Who exactly are they so afraid of losing power, losing votes, or losing relevance? Sanatan has survived invaders, empires and massacres. But silence from its own people is a far greater betrayal than open hostility.
