@xaviercross1971 @CryptoMorey Sure but anybody in Philadelphia would’ve done anything to get off of Horford at that time. But your points remains
English

@CryptoMorey People miss a HUGE one
He paid OKC a #1 pick to take Horford.
OKC turned around and traded Horford to Boston for another 1st rd pick

@JF4Natty @YaronWeitzman I think it’s more of a thanks to Maxey for not throwing a fit about it and accepting it
English

@YaronWeitzman What do you mean “Thanks for Maxey delaying his extension” lmao. It was not his choice. They never offered it, explained way, and he was a good solider about it

Some quick early thoughts on the Sixers and Morey “parting ways”:
- Morey deserves a ton of credit for nailing his draft picks (Maxey, McCain, VJ).
-The PG signing obviously hasn’t gone well, but it’s important to remember the Sixers had a use-it-or-lose-it max cap slot thanks to Maxey delaying his extension.
-One thing Morey did exceptionally well in Houston was finding undervalued role players (PJ Tucker being the classic example). He never really replicated that in Philly.
- The Embiid extension was bad. But I also think it was more complicated than people want to admit. Once the Sixers gave PG that deal, it would’ve been difficult to deny Embiid his extension without seriously upsetting him. And remember, this was a point when the organization, and most of the public, believed the team was a legitimate title contender.
- Last but not least: the McCain trade! I know many people think it was mainly about ducking the tax, and maybe that was part of it, but I actually think it had more to do with how Morey evaluated McCain as a player. Like he said publicly, he believed he was selling high. And I have a feeling we’re going to learn that everything surrounding the deal — the backlash, McCain’s playoff performance, etc — played a major role in this decision.
- The idea that it's Bob Myers finding a replacement for Daryl Morey is just kind of weird. It's like one more blow to the head of Daryl from the Steph Warriors.

@RealMattCarey I’m rooting for this to happen purely for the comedy
English

@newcrackedenby @normalmaxxedaj I found it to be the latter
English

@Justchillin_359 @normalmaxxedaj Do you think your partner cheated on you because she was watching porn? Or did she cheat bc shes a shitty person who likes to cheat.

I’m learning that many straight women really do just want their boyfriends to lie to them constantly. They don’t want honest, vulnerable admissions of desire & predilections, they want to be deceived & manipulated because they prefer the egotistical fantasy that their man only ever thinks sexually about them as opposed to actual intimacy. It’s very childish, actually. Teenage girl mentality

I love that more and more women are calling out their boyfriends for watching that misogynistic trash 🙂↕️

@WorldWideWob People will remember the Knicks series, but man, we weren’t even supposed to compete with Boston. It’s a shame there wasn’t more time to appreciate that. That being said, I don’t think it’s an excuse to run it back again. It’s time to reset the culture of the franchise

You should have to pass a test to see single game +/- numbers. The Sixers are losing by 30. Why would you expect players to not be -30?
Johnny Cassidy@cassidy_jo9637
@SpikeEskin Barlow is +4. Everyone else is a -30. I am so done with George.
English

@PresidentEmbiid Can we train AI on years of Marc Zumoff broadcasts and have it call the games in his voice and cadence? I would genuinely be down for that
English

@SpikeEskin Smooth brains use it and think they dropped the hammer of god on you to win the argument
English

I think probably the most abused and misused stat by people is the way people look at single game +/-.
Mazda Sabouri@msabouri
@SpikeEskin McCain was a +1 last night. His team won by 18. Defense wins titles. Full stop.
English

@PhillyHotspur @CrossingBroad Yeah she pretends she some local who’s loved the team for decades. So annoying. Forced is the right word for it
English

@CrossingBroad Kate Scott. Nice lady but she is terrible. Lacks ball knowledge and everything is so forced and un-natural. Granted she had big shoes to fill in replacing Zumoff, but it’s just no working in the end on any level really. And I’d say around 80% of Sixers fans agree

Joining @SportsCenter on the Philadelphia 76ers ruling out Joel Embiid for a pivotal Game 2 tonight in New York:
English

@FF106777 @RBPhillyTake Well first off they lost by 40. Also he’s just asking a question lmao
English

@RBPhillyTake You said you're not worried about the Knicks earlier this year has that changed?
