@Kuuria_ @UltraNick24 Think this may be for the best, Star Fox has so much potential and can have a similar growth like Zelda did in the 2010s. Metroid Mario DK Zelda are all older series that have two styles of game that coexist.

@UltraNick24 In a perfect world, Star Fox could have branching games similar to the Metroid series: one is pure classic rail shooting, and the other perhaps an expansive adventure type game, akin to, but not a copy of, Star Wars Outlaws.

My counter argument is that these exist because people are still very much interested in this formula. People aren't interested in Star Fox/rail shooters before because a game hasn't been made in a decade and the last game that was made was on a dying/dead console.

@Cenjin_02 @rasenburst I would rather it be a one time purchase than live service that's all, I'm not expecting it to be free. Also it's already been confirmed that certain items like mega stone are locked behind the battle pass so you will be at a disadvantage if you need or want certain items.

@TheGwilliam @RogersBase The foot missions weren't the best and the movement felt really weird however overall the game was incredible and I wish they would have stuck with that formula and just improved on it for at least ONE more game… Multiplayer was an absolute blast

"When was the last good Star Fox game?" is WHY the reaction is so big. Assault perfected the formula (orchestrated OST, unapologetic epic space opera, great multiplayer) and Zero bafflingly made everything worse. We've been starving for GOOD Star Fox news and THIS is good news.

I didnt get to play Pokemon Champions early. I also didnt know that others did so I uploaded videos on each of my channels that just happned to go live at the same time as everyone else and both my vids are going to get burried. Content creation is fun🙃

IDK how I feel about IV's being removed from Pokemon Champions. I'm not a competitive VGC player but as a casual it was cool to try and 6 IV Pokemon as its own Activity . However this is its own game focused on battle. Maybe VGC players can chime in on this.

We're supposed to play, earn and build teams were not going have every mon and item day one. The fact that VP cant be bought is a good sign that we'll get a decent amount daily. We'll see soon

@JoeMerrick You're right. This shows GameFreak giving some input but letting competent developers take care of the rest works best for the franchise and people are voting with their wallets.

Seen some people insist Pokopia is good because Game Freak isn't involved This is not true. The game was a co-development between Game Freak, Koei Tecmo and The Pokémon Company. Shigeru Ohmori developed the concept and was Senior Director. Lots of Game Freak staff worked on it
