‼️Cryo Vault has been Conquered, by Tyraxe and crew They got the Compiler kill in Vault 7 - Compiler drops a Compiler Ganglion, Prestige Salvage - There is a loot room that opens up once the kill is confirmed, with a Contraband-level weapon. It's basically a Marathon version of Destiny 2's trace rifles. - The weapon in the image is a drop from that room, there are ammo drops for it laying around as well. - Ammo for the weapon can be bought in the Armory by exchanging the Compiler Ganglion - There is a door that they were unable to open, requires Security Clearance level 5 - There's also another door that requires one battery to open. They did not have the battery required to open it. Presumably it contains another Security Terminal that may provide enough Security Clearance to open the final door in the loot room - There is an exfil terminal that opens an Exfil beacon in the loot room 📸u/NotoriousCHIM #Marathon | #MarathonGame

Congratulations to all the runners who’ve been battling it out in the floating death fridge we call Cryo Archive! We’ve been watching and ingesting all the thoughts and feedback that we’re hearing, aggregating it and taking it down in notes. After this weekend we’ll spend some time looking into feedback and thinking of the next iterations we want to make: Main topics we’ve noted so far: - Scheduling : options for players who can’t play on weekends - Solos : is there any way to play this map without joining a crew? - Subroutines: can subroutines be more guaranteed as a drop from vaults? Any of these may take some time to figure out so I can’t guarantee quick solutions here but we’ll definitely discuss these topics as a team this week. Thanks for sticking with us as we evolve the game, and helping us fight the good fight against the cyborgs, robots, and aliens!

The next in my series of sharing what I've learned from experience and research in the game so far. Rarer weapons (even purples) have the same TTK as common (white) weapons. So how do you get more powerful? Ofc, rarer shields are SUPER important & impact TTK

I'm having surgery on Tuesday and will be on bed rest for a week. What should I binge watch? I feel like I have seen everything. I like true crime, reality TV, romance, drama. No sci-fi/superhero/action stuff. I prefer TV shows over movies, but I'll give a good movie a shot too

Hover over contract objectives on the map screen for info on where to complete them Inspect weapons out of run (V / Triangle / Y) to bring up a mod workbench Crouching makes heat dissipate faster 🥊 COMBAT TIPS Entering smoke fully drops UESC aggro Some weapons have Z / Left D-Pad functions like alt. scopes and gun shields Headshots deal 50 to 140 percent bonus damage depending on weapon Containers on the outskirts are more likely to have healing items 📦 AMMO TIPS Sponsored Kits come with Ammo Crates Check bodies for Ammo Crates, not just ammo Conserve ammo by knifing low-level enemies Containers on the outskirts are more likely to have ammo 💎 ARMORY TIPS Faction shops periodically refresh. Check for good deals! Some items are bartered for loot, not sold for credits Track needed loot (R / R3) to mark drops in-game Trade Unstable (gray-tier) materials for ammo and healing items

@A_dmg04 I wish the UI did a better job making the items different from each other. It's real hard to tell them apart. Also, using the menu, Specifically in run. On console It is a death sentence. There has got to be a way to streamline that. Overall though Having fun!

First Day Marathon Thoughts: Pros - Great gunplay - Best visuals ever - Overall just fun to play Cons - Little to no skill ceiling - Movement still feels clunky - Horrible menu UI Overall it still feels the exact same from the alpha I remember playing ~1 year ago. Playing as a 3 stack all day was super fun. Doing duos later was an AWFUL experience and I imagine solos will feel the same. There truly feels like there is just 0 chance to win something like a 2 v 3 unless you are fully kitted. The lower population in games makes it feel really stale sometimes too. After 15 minutes you have such a low chance to see another runner. I think there needs to be MUCH better ways to stealthily take on POI's and deal with UESC. I also wish that Blue / Purple shields were more rare & Blue / Purple backpacks were less rare. Feels hard to extract with extra guns to build up your stash. Fun day playing. I don't play a lot of extraction shooters so just my opinions.
