The dev team is going to have to work overtime to keep people playing, but after the highs of Cryo Archive wear off, it's probably going to decline, because what other content is there to experience?
It's a PvP game, not a PvE one so what all can you do with that? I don't envy Bungie at all man, and yes sure I have a bias and I want this game to fail, but even when I look at it objectively, I just don't see how it'll survive.
CoD Zoomers, streamers, shills, & sweaty tryhards, which is the audience Marathon has captured, are not loyal nor dedicated to any game. They'll usually play for 2 weeks to a month, have their fun, and they dip. Betting on that crowd is a horrible bet.

This type of communication has literally never happened from Bungie and it makes you wonder why they never bothered trying half as hard when it came to communication with D2. It's a little frustrating seeing all the effort going into Marathon while D2 was a sinking ship

Something very interesting has happened with 2023 draft revisionism, which is that everyone has forgotten Skenes was not the consensus #1 guy. He took a huge leap as a pro. All the pre-draft rumors had the Pirates looking at Langford or Crews.

The Arc Raiders community is one of the worst in gaming. You know, Arc Raiders is pretty boring with zero endgame content, and all they ever talk about is numbers. In case you didn't know, numbers don't always determine the quality of something. In many ways, Marathon is better.
