@tobi @JohnNabuurs The US, particularly silicon valley, has a ton of momentum and a massive headstart. Yes, Canada has great talent, but it seems like a lot of it ends up in CA ... California.

@JohnNabuurs yep. Canada can be the richest country on planet earth any time it chooses. It's literally just choices.

This is really bad news. There is an obvious path to prosperity for Canada and it’s simply cutting red tape (especially in oil and gas) and cutting the bloated public sector thereby reducing taxes. Oh and stop printing money so inflation isn’t chewing away everyone’s purchasing power day by day.

@Braden_Keith I dunno, I don't think they're doing it to influence scores. But if they are, it just reveals how subjective judging is. Let's get an AI judge in there next year!

My favorite part of NCAAs is watching the teams that try to influence judges' scores in diving by erupting after every dive whether it was good or bad.

@JustinCPollard The pacing is awful. About 60-65% less swimming but the session is only 8% shorter.

This is completely unwatchable, man. It's kinda sad what they did to our sport. I'm sure they're going to debrief with it doing huge increases in viewership.
