I have a lot of love and respect for writers and actors, but this is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read.

@ponysmasher At what stage did you connect with Eric Heisserer? Was this after New Line came on board?

Then it was about a year of working out a deal and stuff. Suddenly I had a lawyer as well. All working for free until I started making money. I worked on a treatment for what the feature would be with the intention of getting a professional writer to then write the script.

I’ve told it so many times in interviews, podcasts, etc that I’m worried people who have followed me for a while are sick of hearing it by now. I’ll do a condensed version in a thread though:

@Massawyrm My wife is an ex sandwich artist and when I shared this tweet she had genuine respect and admiration in her eyes. Also a big fan of the U-Cut.

True Story: I once held the record for San Antonio's Fastest Sandwich Artist, able to make a perfectly weighted Italian BMT from first cut to fully wrapped in 39 seconds. This might be the dumbest thing I'm still kinda proud of.

@DaveSFoley @KITHOnline I can’t stop thinking about the ‘Melanie’ sketch. It may be the smartest I have ever seen. ‘Cathartic sketch comedy’ is a rarely used phrase, but is the only way to describe it and I’ll be revisiting that episode often.
