@jerryrooster22 I've been waiting for you and this take. Things aren't great man. But you're right, our coach who will be with the program past this year really is building something special.
I wanna give a shoutout to my buddy @Bhunter481. He’s had a difficult fall season with the Buffs being great and Trump winning the election. But hey, Norvell is looking solid. Better days ahead #SkoBuffs 🦬

@dpshow What a dumb comment. Look up Kalen DeBoer’s coaching history. Who recruited/coaches Penix his freshman year at Indiana. That’s right, Kalen freaking DeBoer. @Bhunter481
@TomHuckaby@Top100Rick You know the wind was blowing 20mph off the left and they’re hitting sand wedge . no pro or scratch golfer for that matter is missing missing left. That means they’re aiming 40 yards left. @Bhunter481
120 yard hole just decimated the pros.
Usually short holes disappoint when the pros play them. Think of 7 at Pebble Beach or LACC 15. The players are too good for them.
But this time the hole won. Look at where these golf balls went!

Alright, that will do it for Game 1 of Summer League, the Nuggets lose 88-78 after keeping it close for awhile.
TAKEAWAYS:
1. Julian Strawther was the gunner in good and bad ways
- 25 points on 7/19 FG, 3/10 3P, 8/10 FT, cramped a bit at the end. Only one assist. He's clearly ready for a bench scoring role in the NBA, but there will be an important balance to strike between aggressive and over-the-top.
2. Jalen Pickett and Hunter Tyson struggle
- No way around this one. -16 and -20 in +/- respectively. Pickett shot 2/10 FG and was short on every jumper. Creating space was difficult for him and that's key for a PG. Tyson's defense was poor, too much ball-watching and not enough engagement. Late reactions. 2 rebounds in 30 minutes.
3. Hope DaRon Holmes is okay
- Holmes was very much a complementary piece tonight. Didn't try to do too much, but when he had opportunities, he played well. Looks a little small, but his energy and athleticism stood out. Hope the injury is nothing serious.
4. Trey Alexander looks like a player
- 12-4-3 in 26 minutes and looked comfortable. Some impressive shots in the first half, can hit off-the-dribble and stop-and-pop in transition. If the rest of his game is as advertised, he's an NBA player for sure. Want to see him with the starters more frequently going forward.
