@edwardbdart They also have working radio system in the bus for the passengers when I went on the 25 the other day.

Part of Central Connect's recent major fleet investment is 11 new ADL Enviro400MMCs, fitted with many extras such as Alcoa alloy wheels which look the absolute business and USB-A/C charging. Too modern for me - but good to see investment into Hertfordshire services.

The excellent Class 379s are back, and with it we get an upgrade on @GNRailUK! It's only a slight improvement in standard class in my opinion (the seats are nicer but the 387s, which I've also always liked, feel fresher and more modern), nevertheless a very welcome addition.

Two of Hemel's new VDL SB200s seen in and around Hemel and Watford this evening, and I must say the Interurban livery photos miles better than the Sapphire-liveried counterparts. Thus far, 2920/CX58 FZA is miles better than 2923/CX58 FZE, although I am yet to sample the other 2!

The new order for Hertfordshire... 15 rather boring minutes in St. Albans this afternoon saw several ex Fastrack 4-cyl E200MMCs pass by, and I must say these do feel like a step back compared to the stronger 6-cyl VDL / Wrights that were once mainstay on the routes...

@sean_387 I don't know why they are back, even there's MMCs for the 725 and 301 like really.

It seems that since Go-Ahead have taken over Fastrack, Arriva are using its completely unsuitable MMCs on the 724 again. This example, which rattles, vibrates, and feels like it's about to break down, is taking me to Heathrow for possibly the most exciting trip of the year...

Quite possibly the only Sullivan bus with working blinds, AD Enviro200MMC AE27/DB66 SUL, is seen in St Albans city centre this evening. Granted the photos aren't the greatest but I thought it best to share this remarkable feat before the blinds are inevitably replaced by A4 paper

@edwardbdart @transporthub21 The engineers at the time were in a completely different location from the main yard, this was what I was told by friends who work there as I too used to work at Sullivans before being made redundant

@JustinHamer6 @transporthub21 I'd be quite worried for "the people" if they had "not seen" an entire bus should they have been instructed to take them for resale (according to Sullivans they are outright owned hence not repossessed).

@transporthub21 @edwardbdart It was in the engineers workshop at the time of the whole TFL thing and it was broken for a long time so the people must of not seen AE27 and took the others

@edwardbdart Yep. Not sure if it’s permanent. I would guess not as it would be a bit odd to keep one. Especially as you say most of the fleet is Enviro 200s/400s.

@DownOnTheStour Its a shame the condition its left in, I understand its a NR test train but to have it in this condition is sad, i remember when they were shiny with LNER and its previous operators.

One of the nicest rides I've had this year,here is RMC1513 on a feeder service 724 from Harlow to High Wycombe, I managed to get on from Hatfield Station all the way there and back, fantastic buses they really are.
