If you've ever cared about the crossroads between web3 and TradFi, this deal is just a little bit exciting 🤓 Soulpower (NYSE: SOUL) is merging with SWB LLC in an ~$8.1B deal to create SOUL WORLD BANK™, a new international bank built around stablecoins, tokenised real-world assets (RWAs), and cross-border digital payments. Here’s why this matters for Web3: 1. A real bank built for Web3 from day one Most banks “experiment” with blockchain. This one is being designed for it. They’re getting a full banking licence in the British Virgin Islands, meaning they’ll be able to: → issue stablecoin-based accounts, → hold and manage tokenised assets, → offer yield products, → and onboard Web3 users in a regulated way. This is a bigger step than another pilot or partnership — it’s an actual bank entering Web3 👀 2. The Animoca Brands collab is a huge distribution boost Even if you've only been around web3 for a short time, chances are you'll know how big @animocabrands is in the space, especially in gaming and digital culture. Partnering with Animoca means SOUL WORLD BANK can plug its stablecoin and financial products directly into: → metaverse apps → games → Web3 communities That’s a powerful way to get mainstream adoption quickly. 3.
