Dear X, In 2017, when many were afraid to speak for the NDC after the massive 2016 election defeat, a few of us stood up and filled the gap. I was on TV and radio, sometimes 3 times a day. I was on the floor of Parliament as part of a paltry 106 against the NPP's 169. I made sure my voice was heard! Today, I see the slicing and reposting of old videos to set an agenda. I smile and say, "I have paid my dues." You may think you are cooking, but with each video you post, you show the stripes on my shoulder as I fought to bring my party - the NDC - to power. I stood for something I believed in - the return of JM. When former Ministers refused to speak and defend, I did, and I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets. So, dig deeper, you will find 10,000s of videos of me toiling either on the screens or in Parliament. Today, JM is back in power with an even bigger victory than we lost in 2016. We have almost 190 MPs in Parliament. I paid my due, and I hold my head high. Now ask yourself, what have you stood for or achieved? If you think my hustle is simple, like we say on the streets, do make we see! The fact that I have chosen peace does not mean that I am asleep. You think you are agenda-ing, you are simply writing my political memoirs, and I am reading with delight at the testimony of the work we did and achieved. This one is a #TuffSeed. Go and ask your predecessors and be told! Nothing you say about me today is new and has not been told to me before. And oh, let me add the emojis. 🦁🇬🇭 #EyesFixedOnThePrize #LionBorn #HyeWonHye #ThatWhichFireCannotBurn

President John Mahama, in a discussion with CSOs, says LGBTQ concerns remain sensitive but are not the nation’s most pressing issues. He emphasized addressing them through democratic processes, core values, and continued engagement, noting the recent withdrawal of his honorary doctorate by Lincoln University highlights the need for mutual respect. #GhanaNews #CitiFM #ChannelOneNews #ChannelOneTV #PresidentMahama #BigPush

Oh Sis Esi, it's simple asset management logic. Kindly read BlackRock's Stewardship Policies!!! Ghana's economy was hit by a crisis largely due to exogenous factors. The energy sector was struggling, so we got an IMF bailout with key conditionalities, one of which is quarterly cost-reflective tariff adjustments. Tariffs must follow three variables: - Cedi exchange rate - Inflation - Fuel prices When these go up, tariffs rise. When they go down, tariffs should decrease and citizens benefit. No more government subsidies. It's not automatic hikes every quarter; it's automatic alignment with real costs, up or down. The goal: end subsidies, stop new debt, and make the sector sustainable. The IMF requires adjustments, not endless increases. So which part do you need more clarity , Sis Esi? The real issue is whether PURC applies the decreases as faithfully as the increases, instead of acting like the clause only works one way.
Maame Esi@MaameEsiGold

@AUGUAMA So just ask yourself why did IMF require tariff adjustment on our electricity or water as part of the bail out conditions. You sound very educated, tell me intelligently why that was required in addition to reforms.

@tobyasky @_astalavi_ After Malacia was dribbled Maguire could have closed down on Osula before he takes the shot but he decided to stand still

@_astalavi_ Maguire isn’t the last man Yoro & others were retreating. The primary aim is to prevent the player from getting closer to the box. Letting a player closer to your box isn’t playing safe. The closer an attacker is to your box, the more dangerous he is

When I was much younger, what I was taught in the academy was for Maguire to close down that guy, and Malacia takes Maguire’s position. Check Maguire, he was on course to get to that ball and he would have, but he retreated and changed his mind. He would have closed him down, Malacia will then run inside to take Maguire’s position🤷🏽
𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗼@Amad16FC

Just look Malacia's run here! Instead of making it tough for Osula to run, he started running towards midfield, giving Osula tons of time and space. Its football basic ! You make it as tight as you can for the player to run or cut inside.

For clarity, the Central Bank under the able leadership of @DrJPAsiama dutifully and proactively absorbed the cost of rescuing this economy from collapse. Our economy has healed faster than anyone expected under the current leadership and it is delivering results that we all actually feel. Prices of goods and services have eased over the past year compared to the previous year, the cedi has shown renewed resilience against the dollar as reiterated by the President during his #SONA2026 and Ghana’s Gross International reserves have crossed the $13 billion mark, covering more than five months of imports. #AbanPapaAba
