@SalvMattera We need to recognize the govt isn't going to save us; in fact it's deeply involved in actively, intentionally harming us & keeping us sick. We have to be careful who we trust and how we invest our time & energy, towards the most effective paths for real effective treatments.

I've been a harsh critic of the ongoing attempts from people to conflate Long COVID with ME/CFS, Chronic Lyme, and other illnesses because I think it's being done intentionally to hide the ongoing pandemic. However, these illnesses do share somethings in common. It's not necessarily the symptoms. It's not necessarily the biological drivers, or the underlying mechanisms, but they do have something in common and it is very important. What actually unites these illnesses is how society responds and reacts to them: the social component. From the people in power, it's a combination of denial, obfuscation, lack of adequate funding, etc. as if they intentionally don't want to know about these problems, or to solve them. Then the grifters. These folks don't care what you have. They care that you're desperate. The same business model works across every condition in the constellation: unvalidated tests, expensive supplements, cash-pay clinics, treatment guides listing thirty interventions with no evidence. The diagnostic label changes. The revenue model doesn't. And then the patients themselves. Abandoned by the system, they build communities around their diagnoses. The diagnosis becomes identity. The identity becomes political. And the political energy that should be directed at demanding better science gets redirected into defending the diagnostic framework, fighting over labels instead of fighting for answers. What unites these illnesses isn't biology. It's the societal failure that surrounds them. The denial from institutions. The exploitation from grifters. The identity capture of patients. And the absence of anyone in power who is willing to say: we caused this, we failed to prevent it, and we're going to fix it. That's the similarity: abandonment. There should be an alliance here, but it should be a political one based on demanding better science in the form of mechanistic work. Not grouping patients together, giving them some generic label, and running trials based on PROs. Not: "these patients sort of look kind of the same, so let's give them all worm paste and ask them how they feel" but rather: "these patients should rally together to demand the government fund real, expensive, mechanistic research".

@VinoNStrosGal i switched to a gravity filter a long time ago. much lower cost, much better quality than bottled water. i use the doulton Ceramic Ultra Sterasyl filter elements in a stainless steel filter system & stainless / glass containers. when MCAS is in play, water quality matters imho.

With #POTS, you hear it over and over: Water. Electrolytes. Sodium. That’s your baseline. That’s your lifeline. And I’ve been doing that. Religiously. For the past three years, it’s been Zephyrhills, about seven bottles a day, including electrolytes. Because when you have #POTS, hydration isn’t optional. It’s part of daily management. But here’s the part no one really talks about: Not all water feels the same in your body. I deal with that constant “sloshy” stomach, that off feeling that never fully settles. Some of that is #POTS, some of that is MCAS… but what if some of it isn’t? What if the details matter more than we think? So I’m running a two-week experiment. I’m switching everything over to Fiji. Same volume. Same @drinkLMNT electrolytes. Just… different water. And yeah, it’s not cheap. About $22 a case instead of $8. But when you’re drinking this much, that’s not a small change, it’s a commitment. Still, if it makes even a noticeable difference in how my body feels, especially my stomach, it’s worth it. Because when your whole day is built around managing symptoms, even a small shift matters. I’ll report back. And before anyone wants to get sassy, yes, I know about the whole microplastics conversation with bottled water. Trust me, I’m aware. I just don’t have the kind of setup right now to do this any other way, so I’m working with what I’ve got.

@internetuserf12 i suspect a significant proportion, if not a majority, of psychiatric diagnoses are actually auto-immune / neuro-inflammatory / infectious, or neurodegenerative biological disease states. many could be cured or greatly improve if properly diagnosed rather than psychologized.

Anecdotal, but worth noting: I’ve been observing a case where someone with schizophrenia has had a marked improvement in baseline stability while taking APC Restore experimentally. Too early to draw conclusions, and many variables at play, but it raises interesting questions about immune/metabolic contributions in neuropsychiatric conditions. They say it brings them "back to reality."

@HealthRanger accessible, simple to use, de-centralized social media for the masses that is not centrally controlled / easily censored is going to be critical in the near future. hopefully AI makes such projects cheaper to develop & maintain. im thinking built into browsers / extensions.

Are you all noticing how extreme censorship is coming back with a vengeance? Mass de-platforming and demonetization across YouTube. Mass banning from Tik Tok. Even X is ramping up shadowbanning and demonetization. The Trump administration didn't end censorship, it just shifted it from left-wing censorship and speech police to right-wing censorship and speech police. That's why independent platforms are now more important than ever. Visit them, support them and use them. All the Big Tech platforms are getting completely nerfed and locked down under right-wing censorship.

@JohnKiriakou This is well aimed at the core of the problem; ruthless pragmatism rather than leadership based on human values and consistent principles. We need leaders who keep their promises and remain consistent to their values & oaths, that do not abandon the bill of rights when convenient

Too many of the people running our institutions think in terms of results—not values. Cold, calculated, and detached. And when that mindset takes over, people stop being people. They become statistics. Assets. Liabilities. I know how that machine works. I’ve lived inside it. And I can tell you—it doesn’t correct itself. It only changes when the public demands it. Stay informed. Speak out. Back the voices who refuse to play along. That’s how you push back. That’s how you make it count.
ELIZABETH LANE@imelizabethlane

We’re governed by psychopaths who operate with cold pragmatism, ruthless, detached and driven less by values than by outcomes. To them, people become abstractions, reduced to numbers on a balance sheet. Money is the primary metric and when wealth no longer satisfies, influence and control take its place. Take Ukraine, It is devastated, heavily dependent on external funding, even to pay basic salaries. Yet at the same time, some of its wealthiest elites, many of whom built fortunes through deals that tied the country’s assets to powerful foreign financial and corporate interests like black Rock are seen having lavish events in places like Cannes. Inviting American singers to perform for millions of dollars on their birthdays and weddings. Meanwhile, young men are being sent to fight and die. This is what people’s stupidity and ugliness looks like. And if you think it’s only Ukraine, I suggest you look in the mirror. We live in a country where Congress is powerless by chose most of them are bought out by AIPAC money. All the while, they ask you for money for war, but the profits are theirs the entire time. Now we have airline CEOs openly saying that ticket prices are higher because of fuel costs and tensions with Iran. But they also admit that when fuel prices go down, ticket prices will stay high because people are willing to pay. And then they dare to tell you that you live in capitalism. No under capitalism, you take the risk and keep the reward. That's how capitalism works. What we have in America is corporatism, you take the risk and they keep the reward! No society has ever been this disconnected, this distracted, and this passive as America is today. They do whatever they want and almost no one pushes back. Full episode - link below:

This is why I’m going to be jumping up and down about akathisia. It isn’t just my dad. It wasn’t just me. It’s going to impact an unbelievable number of people if tapering guidelines aren’t changed. It already is. They just have no voice, they’re too hurt.
Brandon's Health Journey@BrandonJourney2

Listen, I'm bad at math, didn't look at all the studies to come to a complete conclusion because I'm still struggling with my health, but know some publications stTe roughly 30%+ people that take SSRIs will develop Akathisia. If Gemini is right about this Akathisia data... Then we Americans are indeed looking at a national emergency. I'm going to ask Grok next in the comments below 👇.

@RealCandaceO it won't work, people are resilient and adapt. technology is a double edged sword, governments try to use it to control, but civilians use it to build decentralized systems that make them self-sufficient. as long as the desire to be free remains, people will overcome the tyrants.

@RealCandaceO free speech is obviously under attack. they plan to use the same censorship mechanisms as they did during covid. look at how they shut down and de-platformed people. they think they can own all the communication infrastructure, no need for an amendment; just control & lawfare.

I agree with this assessment. Trump is signaling that he wants France to be able to bankrupt podcasters. He hopes Brigitte wins tons of money. Melania wants Jimmy Kimmel fired for a lame Joke. Erika is responding to Druski like he did anything other than mirror her own actions and words. It’s speech they are coming for. They blame independent media for the mass awakening. We kept the Epstein story and the Charlie Kirk murder alive, when the deep state wanted both buried.
Matt Keefer@Matt_Keefer

We are moments away from a new constitutionalal amendment. It will strip free speech away and they will say its bc the 1st amendment didn't account for social media. It is obvious what "they" are doing. They are ramping up the crazy conspiracy podcasters and blaming everything on them. The stage is set. We just need 1 or 2 BIG false flags so they can feel comfortable enough implementing the new amendment to the constitution in the name of peace and safety.

Supplements aren’t safer than pharmaceuticals, they’re just weaker. Both act on biological pathways. Drugs are just more targeted and dosed to actually work. Push most supplements to a comparable dose and you’ll wreck your liver or kidneys. “Natural” doesn’t mean safer. Demonising pharmaceutical drugs while glorifying supplements has no solid logic.

What is the absolute reality of your life right now? Not your life situation. Not the diagnosis, the debt, the relationship, the loss, the uncertainty about tomorrow. Those are real, I am not dismissing them. But they are a layer above what is most fundamentally true. The most fundamental truth is this moment. The breath moving through the body right now. The aliveness that is present regardless of the circumstances surrounding it. The simple fact of being here, aware, existing, which is happening whether the situation is terrible or wonderful. Your past exists only as thought. Your future exists only as thought. When the past happened, it happened as the present moment. When the future arrives, it will arrive as the present moment. The present is the only place anything has ever actually occurred. And yet most people live as though the present moment is merely the inconvenient gap between the past they carry and the future they are managing. I know this from the inside. Five years of fighting this injury have taken almost everything from me. The career. The health. The version of the future I had built. On the worst days, in the worst hours, the mind runs its familiar route, through everything that was lost, through everything that may never return, through the injustice of what was done and the silence of those responsible. And then something shifts. I notice the breath. The morning light coming light coming into the eyes. Birds singing . The fact that in this precise moment, not in the accumulated weight of five years but in this single breath, I am here. Alive. Still capable of thought and feeling and faith. That is not nothing. Jesus pointed at exactly this when he said look at the birds, look at the flowers of the field. They do not carry yesterday or manage tomorrow. They are fully, completely present in the life they are living right now. And that presence, not their planning or their striving, is what allows them to be sustained. The practice is simple and endlessly difficult. Single out this moment. Pay attention to it. Not to escape the reality of your situation but to access something more fundamental than your situation, the awareness that is present within it, the goodness that exists at a level the mind cannot reach through analysis or worry or the rehearsal of what went wrong. In very hard places you have to go deeper to find it. But it is there. I find it in the sunrise. In the pressure of the earth beneath my feet when I can reach it. In the breath that comes even on the mornings when everything else is difficult. That goodness, quiet, stubborn, present, is the ground of everything else. This is easier said than done. So let me ask you one final question: if everything you have been searching for is already within you, at what is left to seek and what happens the moment you stop searching and simply become aware? Because in that moment, without effort, without striving, you may begin to glimpse something profound, a stillness… a presence, a quiet certainty that does not need validation, and from that place, life is no longer a problem to solve but a mystery to experience, not with fear but with awareness, not with resistance but with clarity, and perhaps this was the true teaching all along, not religion, not doctrine, but consciousness, alive within you, waiting not to be found but to be recognized. Jesus taught consciousness. May God Bless you. And peace be with you.
Kenny Carmody@KennyCarmody

For the last five years I have been fighting for my life after one Moderna COVID vaccine on July 21, 2021 triggered a cytokine storm and unleashed a rare neuromuscular disease plus multi-system damage that has left me 80% bedridden. Immediately after the vaccination I felt the poison in my body – and my life changed forever An ongoing thread journal of my vaccine injury.🧵 Three days after the shot I was in the ICU, then spent six brutal weeks in the ER and hospital. What followed has been a living nightmare no one should ever have to endure. I am now confined to my bedroom for over 23 months. I cannot work. I cannot drive. I cannot grocery shop. I cannot walk more than a quarter mile (most days far less). I have not left my house in three years. Eating takes an hour per meal because of severe dysphagia, constant choking sensation, esophagus and larynx spasms, jaw and face muscle wasting. Talking for more than a few minutes triggers chest tightness, breathing spasms, and stroke-like episodes. Breathing itself is compromised by a partially paralyzed diaphragm. Every single day, without exception, I endure: • Ischemic stroke-like attacks 2–4 times daily (esophageal/laryngeal spasms, hypercranial pressure, sinus swelling, occipital and trigeminal neuralgia that steal my breath) • Whole-body neuropathic pain, ribcage nerve pain, muscle spasms, TMJ lock, electrical shocks through the face and skull • Crushing mitochondrial/histamine-driven fatigue waves that force me horizontal within 2–3 hours of waking • Instability, muscle weakness, sensation of falling even when seated • Gut dysbiosis, vagus nerve dysfunction, food intolerances, and spontaneous disgorgement I was once an Art Director in the movie and gaming industry, traveling to over 100 countries, running and walking miles in nature, living at the absolute peak of my physical and professional life. That life ended the day I was vaccinated. I have seen over a dozen doctors. Most dismissed me as psychosomatic, paranoid schizophrenic, depressed, bipolar, or even “right-wing extremism.” One diagnosis I sued and won to get removed from my record. A lumbar puncture meant to help only made me dramatically worse. I have spent over $60,000 on every treatment the vaccine-injured community has tried, apheresis, NAD infusions, immune therapies, ozone therapy, Maraviroc, ivermectin, supplements. none gave meaningful lasting relief. I have been completely off all medications and centralized treatments for over two years. I became my own doctor. I turned to nature: sunlight (heliotherapy), grounding, circadian rhythm alignment, organic seasonal food, avoiding EMFs and artificial light. I study light biology, quantum medicine, psychology, and Scripture daily. My faith in God and the Christ within is what carries me when the body wants to quit. Yet every winter my symptoms surge. Every cold month feels like the disease is progressing. Doctors, government, friends, and even some family have walked away. I understand, no one wants to carry a burden like this. This is not a life. It is survival. But I am still here. Still hopeful. Still believing that healing is possible through God, nature, and the truth finally being told. I am one of the countless vaccine-injured who have been denied, dismissed, and abandoned by the very systems that told us it was safe. Our stories are real. Our suffering is real. The silence must end. I will keep speaking for every injured person who cannot. I will keep sharing the truth, the science, the faith, and the hope. because if we don’t, no one will. To every vaccine-injured warrior reading this: you are not alone. Your pain is not imaginary. Your fight matters. We see you. We stand with you. To everyone else: please listen. Please believe us. Please help us demand acknowledgment, proper study, real care, and justice. God is not finished with us yet. Better days are coming, for all of us. May God bless you. Peace be with you. 🙏

But please offer me another differential that mimics idiopathic intracranial hypertension and heart attack for someone who lives in a Lyme-endemic region (Ohio/Pennsylvania) that can trigger or worsen hypermobility?
