Khamzat Chimaev had roughly two months to lose weight before facing Sean Strickland. Teammate Arman Tsarukyan publicly stated that Chimaev had to cut roughly 46 lbs (21 kg) to make 185 lbs. If he chose to cut 46 lbs week of fight that's not a bad weight cut that is poor planning.
