@Covlad459811 Because they can’t see the bigger picture. This ‘spying’ has been going on commonplace for some time. Just we were the ones who got caught. The punishment was draconian. It was a kangaroo court also.

I absolutely think the club should be reviewing whether there is merit in suing the EFL btw. There probably isn’t but the punishment we were given was an absolute disgrace. #saintsfc

Time for #saintsfc fans to take a breath, circle the wagons, hope many of last season’s players can be kept and then, with TE our manager on an improved contract, we rip up the Championship and shove two fingers up to the EFL and in particular Middlesbrough.

@LucyVHolland I agree. Media frenzy whipped up by Boro has influenced it. I’m not mad at Tonda I just pray we can talk the players into staying and having 1 more year. Tonda can’t be a bad manager with that performance against Arsenal and city, which by the way there’s no chance of spying at.

I’d argue that diving for a penalty or tricking the ref, is far more impactful than watching a training session. I’m not even angry at Tonda.I think the EFL have lapped up the exposure. Gamesmanship, yes but “Cheating” to me is still a stretch. Not buying into the hype. #saintsfc

@paulfra42730721 @DuncanHolley It doesn't matter where he grew up. He was working in the EFL the rules are very clear. Had the won the playoffs a fine and pounts deduction would of been totally pointless unless it was more the a £200 million fine.

@DuncanHolley Tonda has been brought up with these type of tactics in Germany, so has some excuse. If we’d been given a fine and a points deduction as we should have been then it’s business as usual. It’s because we have been kicked out of the final he’s getting so much stick.

When news broke on Tuesday I was embarrassed about my club, but in the intervening days, listening to the whole world enjoying giving us a kicking, I am more inclined to fight back and say keep TE, tell the rest of the football world to fuck off and let’s get behind our club.
