Another round of disengaging from Twitter (aka X). I don't plan to post new content here, but I may reply. If I've unfollowed you, I probably follow you at the Blue place. If you are not there yet, why not? Note: I will not follow you at both places.

@NRWGCharity Kensal Green Cemetery is the last resting place of many who fought at Waterloo and others who saw or spoke to Napoleon on St Helena. On 20th June there will be an opportunity to visit some of these.

It’s a massive blow for his title defense right out of the gate, especially with Mercedes looking strong (Russell on pole, apparently). But knowing Max, he’ll be charging through the field like a man possessed in the race—expect some epic overtakes if the car holds up. Damage limitation for the team now, with Hadjar stepping up to P3 in quali as a bright spot for them.

@fia Nothing about this says that any engine is illegal. If the FIA changes the testing method half way through the season and a team has to change their design as a result, then they may well seek a relaxation on the budget cap.

@Samsea04 @fia The only thing that will make them do anything is if they make less money. So, if it ruins racing, stop watching, don't buy merch, tell people it's rubbish on social media.

"On one day, five of the 20 courts were sitting empty because there is not the budget to keep them open. What should be the busiest crown court in the country is being forced to run at reduced capacity..." This is why there's a backlog, not cos of juries! thetimes.com/uk/law/article…

For years, the Post Office and Fujitsu covered up the bugs in their faulty Horizon computer software, blaming the subpostmasters using it. Thousands had their lives ruined. Some took their own lives. Now Channel 4 News has obtained a 2006 contract between the two companies - overlooked despite being uploaded to the Post Office Inquiry's website - which a forensic accountant who investigated the Horizon scandal has described as "dynamite".

Earlier this year - because this Labour govt enabled the necessary parliamentary time - it became legal to abort (ie kill) unborn human life up until the day of birth. THE DAY OF BIRTH. Most supporters of abortion throughout the world recognise the horror of this. These are recognisably babies and lives that could easily survive outside of the womb. Labour basically legalised infanticide. Save the fox but follow North Korea in discarding human life. Truly Perverse.
Luke Charters MP@lukejcr

So there we have it. Farage’s concern isn’t animal welfare, it’s his posh mates’ Boxing Day. He is COMPLETELY out of touch with the British public. Labour is banning trail hunting for good to protect our country’s precious wildlife.

@TheUnrealDougP @MercedesF1_Hub @Motorsport_IT Alternatively: Mercedes (and potentially Red Bull Racing) have reportedly found a legal way to increase compression ratio, generating an increase in horsepower from a given volume of fuel. Ferrari, Honda and Audi missed it and are upset.

@MercedesF1_Hub @Motorsport_IT Mercedes (and potentially Red Bull Racing) have reportedly found a loophole in the 2026 engine regulations which will allow increased compression ratio, generating an increase in horsepower from a given volume of fuel. Ferrari, Honda and Audi are set to protest to the FIA.

@AWCook0558 @philatrail The inadequacy of the drainage channel is not the root cause. It was inadequate, either because the design was inadequate or because the construction didn't match the design. Further, inadequate design could have been a consequence of inadequate site data.
