This year marks a special anniversary.  10 years since the double-dissolution election in 2016 when I was first elected as a One Nation Queensland Senator. I have proudly stood beside our party leader, Pauline Hanson, ever since. After many years navigating the beginning of a political and cultural restoration of our country, One Nation has risen sharply in the polls. It’s a transition from being a minor party to the true opposition and now a potential party of government. For every drink you get, the taxman takes two — and he wants to take more. It's just another tax that's out of control, the alcohol excise. We will stop the alcohol excise increases on all drinks, and completely remove all excise on drinks sold in licensed venues to give our struggling hospitality sector a boost. A round at the pub with some friends or family shouldn't send you broke. One Nation believes that you should keep more money in your pocket rather than letting Canberra have it.

@MRobertsQLD You weren’t born in Australia, or a skilled migrant either, Malcolm. Australia simply gave you an opportunity. Perhaps explain why that was entirely legitimate for you but deeply suspicious when extended to someone else.

Last year, out of the 180,000 permanent visas handed out by the Labor government - only 1 in 3 were actually qualified skilled migrants. This is not the skilled migration Australians were promised. Bringing in a massive number of unskilled migration in the middle of a housing crisis is hurting everyday Australians. A One Nation government will only allow migrants with skills that Australia requires.

One Nation will bring grocery prices down by taking pressure off the people who grow and move our food. We would freeze and reduce fuel excise, cut fuel-related taxes, rebuild Australian refining, increase domestic fuel reserves and put fuel security back onshore. Food should not cost more because Canberra makes fuel more expensive.

LIAR. Bowen is lying to the Australian public. Again. To claim that "the most unreliable part our energy system is coal" is just an unmitigated lie. Coal is backbone of our electricity grid, and it has to flex up and down because of the total unreliability of wind and solar. Australia deserves better than a dishonest liar as Energy Minister.
