Of the things discussed on our site orientation day, a question I posed that was most meaningful to me was, “What do you look for in a supervisor?” A focus for the day was on the climate & culture. That was an important part of the climate & culture I want to foster at school.

Been planning, designing, preparing, & now that I’ll facilitate it today, here are pics of set up of school-specific @BreakoutEDU game for site orientation. Purposeful activity: team building, learning about parts of campus, discovering resources, honoring foundations, & more.

With videos & posts about teachers feeling certain ways about team building events, I’ve decided to write a school-specific @breakoutedu game. Still a team builder but has purpose to hunt for clues around campus, learn about changes to bell schedule, & get to know each other.

@PicturesFoIder Wanting to make friendly numbers, to make 48 into 50 can be to take 2 from 27. That will then be 25 + 50.

How do you do it?

You’ve only got one life to live. You can’t dwell in the past. You’ve got to make the most of what you have in the present. Make the most of it.

@MrNunesteach My experience with Twitter has really been poor lately. It’s not the place of hope and positivity like it once was.

Are you considering ditching Twitter? ...I find it painful to tag folks and I am not seeing the content from friends that I used to regularly see. Can anyone relate?

I always try to stay present but it’s hard when tasks and to do lists are always on my mind. Why is it that it’s still hard to stay present during the summer?
