استقبل رئيس #مجلس_الوزراء الدكتور #نواف_سلام في السراي الكبير وفدًا من حزب الشعب الأوروبي (EPP ) يضم نوابا أوروبيين وناشطين سياسيين، وذلك بحضور ممثلين عن حزبي الكتائب والقوات اللبنانية . وقد تناول اللقاء الأوضاع الاقليمية والمستجدات السياسية والاقتصادية في لبنان بالإضافة إلى خطة عمل الحكومة الإصلاحية وقراراتها في سبيل حصر السلاح و بسط سلطة الدولة على كامل أراضيها. هذا وأعرب أعضاء الوفد عن أنّهم يرون أملًا جديدًا في لبنان، مؤكدين مساندتهم للمسار الإصلاحي والسيادي الذي انتهجته الحكومة، واستعدادهم لدعم لبنان بما يخدم استقراره وتعزيز قدراته. من جهته، شدّد الرئيس سلام على ضرورة الضغط على إسرائيل لوقف اعتداءاتها على #لبنان والانسحاب من الأراضي التي ما زالت تحتلها، والالتزام الكامل بترتيبات وقف الأعمال العدائية. كما أكد على أهمية إعلان نيويورك لوقف الحرب في غزة واعادة إحياء مسار حل الدولتين، توصلا لحل عادل وشامل في المنطقة. #pcm
