Treasuries in the us are leading Global bond yields higher. The 10 year tsy yield is up 6bps today. A global bond market rout is back on. Risk is stocks will be impacted as rising yields hurt earnings outlooks. A tricky day for investors. @XTBUK

Yields are on the rise again in the US, this has the potential to derail stocks yet again, which are lower for a third session on Tuesday. Alternative view, is a yippy steadily market enough to get Trump to sign a deal with Iran? @XTBUK

Absolutely horrific story; the NEU is actively trying to ruin state education in this county, while the government is trying to ruin private education. Time for a major overhaul of teaching unions? thetimes.com/article/cfd84e…

People often ask why I'm a Conservative. It's because people who get up early, work hard and do the right thing deserve a fair crack of the whip. A hand up, not a handout. Because government needs to get out of the way and let people live their lives. 👇

Clear steer from the IMF that there is now “limited tax space” in the UK that does not involve fundamental tax reform.

What are Andy Burnham’s political views? This is a good summary of what Burnham is like, if he becomes the next PM, his policies will be so radically different from labour’s 2024 manifesto that there will have to be a GE. thetimes.com/article/59c3c6…

Cut My Tax
Cut My Tax@CutMyTaxUK·
The Economist reports that almost 9 in 10 members of the Labour Party say taxes and public spending should be increased, compared with 6 in 10 Labour voters. "Whoever the candidates are, Labour’s rules could put the final decision in the hands of an unrepresentative body of left-wing anoraks," notes the Economist. The public would—fairly—feel they deserve a say. The demand for a general election could become intense."

Barely any reaction to the better than expected GDP figures in the UK. Pound is trading at $1.3520, up a touch. All eyes on bond market and news from Westminster…. @XTBUK
