These people invoke the name of Jesus, but it’s obvious they’ve never actually read the Bible (or at least don’t care about what it says). This guy argues that Jews hate Jesus; therefore, we should hate them. I see this line of reasoning all the time. But what does Paul tell us in Romans 9 and 11? He says that he would give up his own life—even his own eternal salvation—if it meant the redemption of the Jewish people. He writes this knowing they were rebelling against their own Messiah, and still he has love for them. He prays for them. He honors their biblical history and the promises God made to them in chapter 9. In chapter 11, Paul tells us not to be arrogant toward the Jewish people. He paints a picture of a tree and says that we, as Gentile believers, have been grafted into this tree (the covenant with Israel) by faith. So who are we to think we’re any better than the Jewish people? Paul doesn’t say we replaced the Jews. He doesn’t say that because they rejected their Messiah, we should despise them. No—he tells us to love them, pray for them, remember who they are in our own history, and understand that God is not finished with them, since His promises are irrevocable. The point is simple: listen to the Bible, not these psychotic “woke right” freaks online.
