Labor Department data contradicts the narrative that AI is eliminating the need for developers.

In my 20s, while in graduate school, I set a personal goal of getting married by 30. Thirty came and went, I was still single. As an only child, I also dreamed of having three children. The unmarried, childless years were fun, but not fulfilling. I once told a friend that it felt like we were leaves floating in the wind, free, but never attached. I am happily married now and have one child. If I could talk to my younger self, I'd say this: Be brave. Don't be afraid of commitment. Once I committed, things began to fall into place. Marriage and relationships are not easy. Parenting is hard. But they are among the most meaningful things you can do. To young people today: If you want to live life to the fullest, why not give relationships a chance? It is Ok if you fail, even if your heart is broken. It is a part of growth.

It's fair to say that horses fostering eagles (admeter.usatoday.com/2026/american-…) were much better received among voters than the latest Gen-AI tools.

Interesting that OpenAI and Anthropic's Super Bowl ads were rated 45th and 46th, respectively, among all 54 Super Bowl ads. In addition, Wix's and Salesforce's ads, which also focused on AI, were rated 51st and 52nd. Maybe AI fatigue is real? (admeter.usatoday.com/2026)

This wasn't quite where I meant to place Alaska, but it's probably about as cold as Antarctica up there, so this is sort of fitting in a way
