@natellewellyn @TaraLifBaum Really hoping this is a use case AI solves for us. I've found value in defining my own questions for review, but there is too much friction to that habit for it to be widely used.

@TaraLifBaum It'd be amazing to have something built into Apple Books or Kindle that does this so that I don't have to type out notes in order for a quiz to be generated. I don't want a quiz of only what I took note of, I want a quiz on the key points of a chapter.

So many new extensions out there summarizing text, any writing questions based on what we just read?

@peterjacobrich Nope. I was just curious more than anything. My team is building student ratings software. I discovered this was the first-ever article on the subject. I was curious to see how far things have (or have not) come in 100 years.

An academic article I want to access was literally written 99 years ago. It's behind a paywall. 😂

5 years ago, I predicted this will be the greatest impact AI will have on education. I'm still bullish on that claim. Forward-thinking institutions are preparing for a future in which they may not have a monopoly on recognition. (6/6) #highered #edtech

The secret to unlocking the internet’s potential impact is not content or credentials. We have great content. We can issue any credential. The key is finding new *scalable* ways to measure complex skills (5/6).

The internet failed to transform education. 👎 Imagine telling someone from the past about it:
 - Instant global communication - Immediate access to everything we know - Rich content (images, videos, interactivity) Then describe our modern education system. (1/6) #edtech

@natellewellyn I'll take a look. My issue is that spending doesn't have a cap, but scores on standardized tests do. Standards have also changed significantly since 1970, but this chart does not account for that kind of "inflation". They are arguing an important point, it just feels sloppy.

@KClemEdu It's funny that you're struggling with the data being presented this way when the source actually changed presents the data originally in a different way. Even if a 200% increase isn't possible, the chart is still valid as it is meant to show two percentage increases over years
